Abstract
Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah terkait tentang pertumbuhan ekonomi di suatu negara yang dapat dijadikan sebagai tolak ukur untuk melihat serta menganalisa tingkat perkembangan perekonomian di negara tersebut. Dimana perkembangan perekonomian suatu negara ini tidak terlepas dari perusahaan-perusahaan besar yang berperan didalamnya khususnya perusahaan sektor industri. Sektor industri ini memegang peran kunci sebagai mesin pembangunan, selain itu sektor industri ini juga memiliki keunggulan dimana sektor ini mempunyai nilai kapitalisasi modal yang tertanam sangat besar, kemampuan menyerap tenaga kerja yang besar, serta mampu menciptakan nilai tambah dari setiap input yang diolah. Sebab pada dasarnya perusahaan industri ini berangkat dari bahan mentah yang diproses menjadi barang finishing good yang siap dipasarkan, dimana dalam proses pengolahan itu membutuhkan waktu yang erat kaitannya dengan kondisi makroekonomi maupun mikroekonomi yang tengah terjadi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: Menganalisis dan menjelaskan pengaruh variabel makroekonomi terhadap struktur modal; Menganalisis dan menjelaskan pengaruh variabel mikroekonomi terhadap struktur modal; Menganalisis dan menjelaskan pengaruh variabel makroekonomi terhadap kinerja perusahaan; Menganalisis dan menjelaskan pengaruh variabel mikroekonomi terhadap kinerja perusahaan; Menganalisis dan menjelaskan pengaruh struktur modal terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dari dokumentasi, serta analisis data menggunakan analisis PLS (Partial Least Square) . Hasil analisis data membuktikan bahwa: (1) Variabel makroekonomi terhadap struktur modal memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan, (2) Variabel mikroekonomi memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap struktur modal, (3) Variabel makroekonomi terhadap kinerja perusahaan memiliki pengaruh yang negatif dan tidak signifikan, (4) Variabel mikroekonomi terhadap kinerja perusahaan memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan, (5) Variabel struktur modal memiliki pengaruh yang positif signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan.
English Abstract
Background of this research is related on economic growth in a country that can be used as a benchmark to see and analyze the level of economic development in the country. Where a countrys economic development can not be separated from large companies, especially companies that play a role in the industrial sector. The industrial sector played a key role as an engine of development, besides the industrial sector also has the advantage that this sector has a market capitalization very large embedded capital, the ability to absorb a large workforce, as well as able to create added value of each input or base material processed . Because this industry is basically a company departs from the raw materials are processed into goods ready for market good finishing, where the processing that takes time which is closely related to the macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions that happening. The purpose of this research: Analyze and explain the influence of macroeconomic variables on capital structure; Analyze and explain the microeconomic variables influence on capital structure; Analyze and explain the influence of macroeconomic variables on company`s performance; Analyze and explain the influence of microeconomic variables on company`s performance; Analyze and explain the effect of capital structure on company`s performance. The research method used is a quantitative method. Data collection techniques of documentation, as well as data analysis using PLS analysis (Partial Least Square). Analysis result explain that: (1) Macroeconomic has positive significant affect on company`s capital structure, (2) Microeconomic has positive significant affect on company`s capital structure, (3) Macroeconomic has negative no significant affect on company`s performance, (4) Microeconomic has negative significant affect on company`s performance, (5) Capital structure has positive significant affect on company`s performance.
