Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Mengetahui pengaruh variabel kepatuhan syariah dan manfaat ekonomi terhadap minat investor dalam pembelian Sukuk Negara. (2) Mengetahui variabel apa di antara kepatuhan syariah dan manfaat ekonomi yang paling dominan mempengaruhi minat investor dalam pembelian Sukuk Negara. Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Jenis data dalam dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang bersumber dari beberapa instansi pemerintah, data yang diteliti mulai bulan Januari 2009 sampai dengan juli 2012. Estimasi data mengunakan regresi berganda data time series dengan model OLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, secara bersama-sama variabel kepatuhan syariah dan variabel manfaat ekonomi mempengaruhi secara signifikan terhadap minat investor dalam pembelian sukuk Negara, sedangkan secara parsial variabel yang paling berpengaruh adalah variabel manfaat ekonomi yakni suku bunga. Temuan ini mengambarkan bahwa tingginya tingkat pembelian sukuk Negara ternyata lebih dipengaruhi variabel yang bersifat spekulatif, oleh karena itu penerbitan sukuk Negara hendaknya dikaji ulang dan disempurnakan, agar penerbitan sukuk Negara sesuai dengan tujuan dan fungsinya yakni mendorong pertumbuhan dan pengembangan pasar keuangan syariah, memperkuat dan meningkatkan peran sistem keuangan berbasis syariah di dalam negeri serta menciptakan benchmark instrumen keuangan syariah baik di pasar keuangan syariah domestik maupun internasional.
English Abstract
This study aims to: (1) Determine the influence of sharia compliances and economic benefits variables to the investors in the purchase of sovereign sukuk. (2) Determine kind of variables between sharia compliances and economic benefits of the most dominant influence to investor interests in purchasing of sovereign sukuk. This study used a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The type of data in this research is the secondary data from government agencies as the main foundation of the research, the data were examined from January 2009 to July 2012. Estimates of data using time series regression with OLS models. The findings show that, sharia compliances and economic benefits variables significantly to the investor interest in purchasing sovereign sukuk, but the most influential variable is a variable interest rate that the economic benefits. These findings describe the high rate of purchase of sovereign sukuk were more affected variables speculative. Therefore sovereign sukuk should be revised and refined, so the sovereign sukuk issuance in accordance with the purposes and functions which drive the growth and development of the Islamic financial market, beside it can make strengthen and enhance the role of the Islamic financial system in the country and to create a good benchmark of Islamic financial instruments in the domestic and international markets of Islamic finance.
