Abstract
Kinerja yang tinggi membutuhkan dorongan bukan hanya dari ekstrinsik (luar) namun juga intrinsik (dalam). Salah satu dorongan dari dalam adalah spiritualitas. Penulis tertarik untuk meneliti hubungan kecerdasan spiritualitas/ Spiritual Intelligence (SI) dan kinerja karyawan Rumah Sakit Prima Husada dan bagaimana peranan keempat komponen Spiritual Intelligence (SI) yaitu higher consciousness, self consciousness, challenge dan holistic view terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sebanyak 53 karyawan RSPH menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini, mereka dinilai kinerjanya oleh atasan dan melakukan penilaian pribadi untuk mengukur tingkat kecerdasan spiritualnya dengan menggunakan kuisioner ISIS ( Integrated Spiritual Intelligence Scale ) dari Amram. Kemudian dilakukan analisa statistik dengan menggunakan analisa regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan antara kecerdasan spiritual dengan kinerja karyawan. Variabel higher consciousnes, self consciousness, challenge dan holistic view secara bersama–sama mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan Rumah Sakit Prima Husada (RSPH) Malang (F= 100,236, p = 0,000). Secara parsial, hanya variabel higher consciousness saja yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan (t=10,789, β = 0,892, p = 0,000) sedangkan variabel lainnya tidak.
English Abstract
Great job performance needs both internal and external motivation. Spirituality is one of the internal motivation. In this study we investigated the relation between Spiritual Intelligence to employee`s performance and how the Spiritual Intelligence`s components (higher consciousness, self consciousness, challenge and holistic view) correlate with employee`s performance. Fifty third respondents involved in this study, their performance were assessed by the supervisor, and they did self report based on the ISIS (Integrated Spiritual Intelegence Scale) from Amram. The result were analyzed by multiple linear regression. The spiritual Intelligence have significant positive influence on employee`s performance. Higher consciousness, self consciousness, challenge and holistic view simultaneously give positive relation to employee`s performance (F= 100,236, p = 0,000) . Only higher consciousness has strong correlation with employee`s performance (t= 10,789, β = 0,892, p = 0,000) .
