Abstract
Analisis kegempaan vulkanik telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui letak serta distribusi hiposenter di Gunungapi Soputan pada rentang waktu Desember 2014 – Januari 2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui letak hiposenter gempa vulkanik serta mengetahui letak pergerakan magma Gunung Soputan. Secara garis besar penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menganalisis data gempa vulkanik periode Desember 2014 – Januari 2015 yang berupa data sekunder dari hasil rekaman (seismogram) Gunung Soputan pada 4 stasiun yaitu stasiun SOP, WNR, RIN dan SLN. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa distribusi hiposenter gempa vulkanik Gunungapi Soputan menyebar pada daerah sisi barat dari Gunungapi Soputan dan cenderung mengarah ke arah utara, dengan kedalaman 900 m –– 3800 m di bawah pusat kawah. Hiposenter gempa vulkanik A (VA) berada pada kedalaman 1950 – 2000 meter dibawah pusat kawah. Sedangkan untuk hiposenter gempa vulkanik B (VB) berada pada kedalaman 900 – 3800 meter dibawah pusat kawah. Dan dari hasil analisa hiposenter terdapat horizontal crack yang teridentifikasi pada kedalaman 1900 – 2100 meter dibawah kawah dan juga terdapat pipa konduit pada kedalaman 900 – 3800 meter dibawah kawah. Posisi kantong magma Gunungapi Soputan teridentifikasi pada kedalaman 2400 – 3000 meter dibawah kawah.
English Abstract
Volcanic earthquake analysis had been conducted to understand position and distribution of hypocenter in Soputan vocano during December 2014 till January 2015 period. The purpose of this research is conducted by analyzing volcanic earthquake data at December 2014 to January 2015 that consist secondary data from recording data volcano Soputan on 4 stations are SOP, WNR, RIN and SLN. The result of this research shows that distribution of hypocenters from volcanic deep earthquake (VA) is spreaded along west side and inclined to north side which located on depth 1950 – 2000 metres below the center of crater. And the distribution of hypocenters from volcanic shallow earthquake (VB) is spreaded along west side and inclined to north side which located in 900 – 3800 metres below the center of crater. The result of hypocenters analyzing shows that there are horizontal crack which located in depth 1900 – 2100 metres below the center of crater and also conduit pipe which located in 900 – 3800 metres below the center of crater. The position of magma chamber located in 2400 – 3000 metres below the center of crater.
