Abstract
Transfluthrin merupakan salah satu bahan aktif obat nyamuk one push aerosol yang tergolong dalam pestisida dengan jenis insektisida pyrethroid sintetis. Transfluthrin dapat masuk kedalam alveolus paru-paru melalui sistem pernafasan, sehingga dapat terbawa kedalam sistem peredaran darah dalam tubuh dan ditransfer ke ginjal. Transfluthrin dapat menyebabkan kerusakan sel-sel organ ginjal, untuk mengetahui kerusakan organ ginjal akibat bahan aktif transfluthrin maka dilakukan penelitian tentang pengaruh transfluthrin terhadap gambaran mikroskopis kerusakan organ ginjal mencit. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara hewan uji berupa mencit dimasukkan kedalam chamber kemudian diberi perlakuan berupa semprotan obat nyamuk one push aerosol type-H dan type-V selama 20 menit setiap harinya selama 23 hari. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya korelasi yang signifikan antara jumlah semprotan obat nyamuk one push aerosol terhadap kerusakan organ ginjal mencit. Semakin besar jumlah konsentrasi yang diberikan maka semakin besar pula persentase kerusakan organ ginjal pada mencit. Dengan jumlah dosis semprotan obat nyamuk one push aerosol type-H antara 1 sampai 5 semprotan dapat memberikan efek kerusakan organ ginjal antara 15% hingga 47%, sedangkan dengan obat nyamuk one push aerosol type-V dapat memberikan efek kerusakan organ ginjal antara 17% hingga 49%. Kerusakan pada ginjal ini terjadi karena adanya transfluthrin yang bersifat toksik terakumulasi didalam tubuh dan ginjal sehingga menimbulkan adanya radikal bebas yang mampu merusak sel-sel pada ginjal.
English Abstract
Transfluthrin is the one of active ingredients on insect repellent One Push Aerosol that classified to the pesticides with type of insecticide pyrethroid syntetic. Transfluthrin can enter to the lungs through the respiratory system, so that it can be drawn into the circulatory system in the body and transfered to the kidneys. Transfluthrin can damage the kidneys. Therefore, conducted a research about effect of transfluthrin as active ingredient on insect repellent one push aerosol to microscope images of the damage mice kidney. This research was does in a way the mice put in a box then sprayed with insect repellent one push aerosol type-H and type-V about 20 minutes everyday for 23 days. The result from the research showed significant correlations between dose spray to the kidney damage. With the number of doses of spray repellent one push aerosol type- H from 1 to 5 sprays can give the effect of kidney damage from 15% to 47 % ,with a dose of spray insect repellent one push aerosol type- V from 1 and 5 spray to give effect kidney damage from 17% to 49 %.Damage to the kidneys is due to transfluthrin toxic accumulate in the body and the kidneys, causing the free radicals that can damage cells of the kidney.
