Abstract

Karakterisasi elektroda selektif ion (ESI) sitrat tipe kawat terlapis membran aliquat 336-sitat telah dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini dipelajari tentang karakter dasar dari ESI sitrat tipe kawat terlapis berbasis aliquat 336-sitrat yang meliputi rentang konsentrasi linier, harga faktor Nernst, batas deteksi, waktu respon dan usia pakai yang Nernstian. Komposisi membran ESI sitrat yang telah dibuat dari aliquat 336-sitrat : PVC : DOP (2: 32: 66 (%b/b)) dalam pelarut tetrahidrofuran (THF) 1:3 (b/v). Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam larutan uji natrium sitrat pH 8 dan pada suhu 27-280 C. Membran diprakondisi dalam Natrium sitrat 10-1 M selama 20 menit sebelum digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ESI sitrat tipe kawat terlapis berbasis aliquat 336-sitrat dengan harga faktor Nernst yang diperoleh 19,11 mV/dekade konsentrasi, koefisien regresi (R2) 0,9999, rentang konsentrasi linier 1x10-2 – 1x 10-5 M sitrat, batas deteksi 5,49x10-6 M atau setara dengan 1,03 ppm sitrat,waktu respon 40 detik, dan usia pakai selama 71 hari.

English Abstract

Characterization of coated wire citrate ISE based on aliquat 336- citrate has been investigated. The aim of research was to study the characterization of the performance of coated wire citrate selective electrode based on aliquat 336-citrate including Nernst factor, linear concentration range, detection limit, response time and life time. The membrane was prepared from aliquat 336-citrate: PVC: DOP (2: 32: 66 (%w/w)) in the solvent tetrahydrofuran (THF) 1: 3 (w/v). This research was in a solution of sodium citrate pH 8 and at a temperature of 27-280 C.The membrane was immersion in citrate solution 10-1 M for 20 minutes before using. The results showed that Coated Wire Citrate Selective Electrode Based on Aliquat 336- Citrate. The result of reasearch, Nernst factor was 19,11 mV/decade concentration, the regression coefficient (R2) was 0,9999, the linear concentration range was 1x10-2 - 1x10-5 M citrate, the detection limit was 5,49x10-6 M or 1,03 ppm citrate, a response time was 40 seconds, and the life time was 71 days.
