Abstract
Transfluthrin merupakan bahan aktif yang merupakan golongan pirethroid dan merupakan bagian dari insektisida organik sintetik. Bahan aktif transfluthrin dapat masuk ke dalam alveolus paru-paru melalui pernafasan. Untuk mengetahui kerusakan yang terjadi di organ paru akibat bahan aktif transfluthrin maka dilakukan penelitian tentang pengaruh bahan aktif transfluthrin yang terkandung dalam obat nyamuk one push aerosol terhadap gambaran mikroskopis kerusakan organ paru mencit (Mus musculus). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menyemprotkan obat nyamuk one push aerosol tipe-v dengan kandungan bahan aktif transfluthrin 21,3% dan obat nyamuk one push aerosol tipe-h dengan kandungan bahan aktif transfluthrin 25% pada mencit yang dimasukkan ke dalam Chamber dan disemprot selama 20 menit dalam 2 minggu. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya kerusakan organ paru mencit. Persentase kerusakan paling banyak diakibatkan oleh obat nyamuk tipe-v yaitu 31% rusak karena destruksi septum alveolus dan 10% rusak karena emfisema. Sedangkan obat nyamuk tipe-h hanya memberikan kerusakan 29% destruksi septum alveolus dan 6% emfisema. Semakin banyak dosis semprot, semakin besar pula persentase kerusakan organ paru pada mencit.
English Abstract
Transfluthrin is an active substance which is a group of pirethorid. It is part of the synthetic organic insecticides. The active substance of transfluthrin can go into the lung through respiratory system. To determine the detriment which occurs in the lungs as a result of transfluthrin, it was conducted the research exactly on the effects of transfluthrin which contained in the insect repellent of one push aerosol towards the microscopic description of mice’s lung detriment (Mus musculus). This research was conducted by spraying the insect repellent one push aerosol of tipe-v containing transfluthrin of 21.3% and the insect repellent of one push aerosol of type-h containing transfluthrin of 25% on mice that was inserted into the Chamber and was sprayed for 20 minutes in the second week. The results of this study indicated that was the detriment of lungs of mice. Percentage of the most detriment was caused by the insect repellent type-v namely 31% damaged because of the destruction of alveolar septum and 10% damaged by emphysema. Whereas the insect repellent of type-h gave the detriment of 29%, it was damaged by the destruction of the alveolar septum and 6% of emphysema. The more sprayed dose, the more percentage of the mice’s lung detriment.
