Abstract

Telah dibuat dan dikarakterisasi Elektroda Selektif Ion (ESI) timah(II) tipe kawat terlapis berbasis S-methyl N-(methylcarbamoyloxy) thioacetimidate. ESI dibuat dengan menggunakan kawat Pt sebagai konduktor elektronik. Kawat Pt dilapisi dengan membran yang terdiri dari komposisi S-methyl N-(methylcarbamoyloxy) thioacetimidate sebagai bahan aktif, polivinilklorida(PVC) sebagai bahan pendukung, plastisizer dioktilftalat(DOP) yang dilarutkan dalam pelarut tetrahidrofuran(THF). Komposisi optimum membran meliputi S-methyl N-(methylcarbamoyloxy) thioacetimidate:PVC:DOP (b/b) 17:17:66 dalam 1,5 mL THF. Variasi waktu perendaman membran yang digunakan yaitu 20,40,60,80, dan 100 menit dalam larutan SnCl2 1 M. ESI timah(II) yang telah dibuat, dikarakterisasi meliputiFaktor Nernst, limit deteksi, rentang konsentrasi linear, waktu respon, dan usia pakai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa waktu perendaman membran optimum yang diperoleh yaitu pada 60 menit. Hasil karakterisasi didapatkan harga Faktor Nernst sebesar 29,49 mV/dekade konsentrasi, rentang konsentrasi linear 10-8-10-3 M dan limit deteksi sebesar 8.79 x 10-9 M atau setara dengan 0,002 ppm timah(II). Waktu respon yang dihasilkan 10 detik dengan usia pakai selama 70 hari.

English Abstract

There has been made and characterized coated wire tin(II) Ion Selective Electrode (ISE) based S-methyl N-(methylcarbamoyloxy) thioacetimidate. ISE was made using platinum wire as an electronic conductor. The platinum wire was coated by membrane which consist of S-methyl N-(methylcarbamoyloxy) thioacetimidate composition as an active material, polyvinylchloride (PVC) as support material and a plasticizer dioctylftalat (DOP) dissolved in tetrahydrofuran (THF) solvent.The optimum composition of membrane consist of S-methyl N-(methylcarbamoyloxy) thioacetimidate:PVC:DOP (b/b) 17:17:66 in 1,5 mL THF. Variation of soaking time membrane were 20,40,60,80, dan 100 minutes insolution SnCl2 1 M. ISE tin(II) that has been made, will be characterized included :Nernst Factor, linear concentration range, limit detection, responsetime and life time. The result shows that optimum soaking time of membrane was 60 minutes. Characterization result shows that Factor Nernst price 29,49 mV/decade consentration, range consentration tin(II) of 10-8-10-3 M with limit detection of 8,79 x 10-9 M or equivalent 0,002 ppm tin(II). Tin(II) ISE also had response time of 10 seconds with life time of 70 days.
