Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh konsentrasi NaCl sebagai fase penerima dan adanya anion pengganggu NO3- dan SO42- dalam larutan terhadap konstanta permeabilitas dan efisiensi transpor fosfat. Tahap awal penelitian dilakukan dengan pembuatan Polymer Inclusion Membrane. Larutan NaCl dengan konsentrasi 0,05; 0,1; 0,5; dan 1 M digunakan untuk percobaan pengaruh konsentrasi fase penerima. Anion nitrat dan sulfat 100 mg/L digunakan untuk percobaan ion pengganggu terhadap konstanta permeabilitas fosfat. Semua percobaan dilakukan dengan pengadukan selama 3 jam dan pengambilan analit setiap interval 30 menit pada sel difusi. Konsentrasi analit diukur menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Visible pada panjang gelombang 690 nm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi fase penerima yang memberikan harga konstanta permeabilitas fosfat yang paling baik adalah 1 M dengan harga sebesar 7,47×10-4 mL/min.cm2 dengan efisiensi transpor 60,25%. Adanya anion lain seperti nitrat dan sulfat dengan konsentrasi yang sama dalam larutan fosfat menurunkan harga konstanta permeabilitas dan efisiensi transpor fosfat melalui PIM.
English Abstract
This research was conducted in order to study the effect of NaCl concentration as receiving phase and the presence of other anions NO3- and SO42- in the solution to the permeability constant and transport efficiency of phosphates. Initial research was performed with making Polymer Inclusion Membrane. NaCl solutions with a concentration of 0,05; 0,1; 0,5; and 1 M were used to study the effect of concentration in the receiving phase. Nitrate and sulfate solution of 100 mg/L were used to study the effect of other anions on the phosphate permeability constant through PIM. All experiments were carried out with stirringthe solution in the diffusion cell for 3 hours and the analyte was taken every 30 minute. Analyte concentration was measured using a UV-Visible spectrophotometer at wavelength of 690 nm. The results showed that NaCl concentration of receiving phase that gives the highest permeability constant was 1 M with the permeability constant was 7,47×10-4 mL/min.cm2 and transport efficiency of 60,25%. The presence of other anions such as nitrate and sulfate in the same concentration in a solution of phosphate had lowering value of phosphate permeability constants and phosphate transport efficiency through PIM.
