Abstract
Skripsi ini membahas kontrol optimal pada model kanker dengan imunoterapi dan kemoterapi. Pembahasan ditekankan pada penyelesaian masalah kontrol optimal dengan menggunakan prinsip Pontryagin. Tujuannya adalah menentukan pengobatan mana yang paling efektif di antara pengobatan dengan imunoterapi saja, pengobatan dengan kemoterapi saja, atau kombinasi kedua pengobatan tersebut. Masalah kontrol optimal diselesaikan dan disimulasikan secara numerik dengan metode Sweep Maju-Mundur. Hasil simulasi numerik menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi pengobatan imunoterapi dan kemoterapi merupakan pengobatan paling efektif dalam memusnahkan kanker.
English Abstract
This final project studies an optimal control on a model of cancer with immunotherapy and chemotherapy. The discussion focuses on application of pontryagin principle to solve optimal control problem. The goal is to determine the most effective treatment among immunotherapy alone, chemotherapy alone or combination of those treatments. The optimal control problem is also solved numerically and simulated by using Forward Backward Sweep method. Numerical simulation results show the effectiveness of the combination of immunotherapy and chemotherapy in the treatment of eliminating cancer.
