Abstract
Pengaruh ion asing terhadap kinerja ESI timbal(II) tipe kawat terlapis berbasis S-methyl N-(methylcarbamoyloxy) thioacetimidate atau methomyl untuk penentuan kadar timbal dalam ikan telah diteliti. ESI timbal(II) yang telah diteliti memiliki nilai Nernstian dengan harga slope 29,2 mV/dekade, konsentrasi linier timbal 10-5- 10-1M dan limit deteksi 1,4 x 10-5M (2,07 ppm) timbal. Ion asing yang digunakan adalah Cd2+dan Fe3+ dengan konsentrasi sebesar 10-3 M melalui metode tercampur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ESI timbal(II) menghasilkan nilai koefisien selektifitas (Ki,j)<1 dengan urutan selektifitasnya adalah Pb2+>Cd2+>Fe3+. ESI timbal(II) yang telah dibuat dapat diaplikasikan pada sampel ikan dengan presisi 99,71 % dan akurasi 99,42 % dibandingkan dengan metode spektrofotometri serapan atom. Berdasarkan uji statistik t dengan tingkat kepercayaan 5 %, menunjukkan bahwa metode potensiometri dapat digunakan sebagai metode alternatif penentuan kadar timbal(II) disamping metode spektrofotometri serapan atom.
English Abstract
The effect of interfering ions to the performance of coated wire lead(II) based on S-methyl N-(methylcarbamoyloxy) thioacetimidate or methomyl for determination of lead levels in fish have been investigated. ISE lead(II) showed Nernstian slope of 29.2 mV/decade, linier concentration from 10-5 - 10-1 M and detection limit of 1.4 x 10-5 M (2.07 ppm) of lead. The interfering ions used are Cd2+ and Fe3+ under concentration of 10-3M by mixed solution method. The results showed that lead(II) ISE gave selectivity coefficient (Ki,j)<1 with the selectivity order of Pb2+> Cd2+>Fe3+. The lead(II) ISE has been applied to measure lead(II) in fish samples with precision of 99.71 % and accuracy 99,42 %. Based on the statistical t-test with 5 % confidence level, indicating that the results of potentiometric method and atomic absorption spectrophotometry method did not give significant different and can be used as an alternative method for determination of lead(II).
