Abstract

Elektroda Selektif Ion (ESI) timbal (II) tipe kawat terlapis berbasis S-methyl N-(methylcarbamoyloxy) thioacetimidate sebagai bahan aktif, polivinilklorida (PVC) sebagai matriks polimer dan dioktilftalat (DOP) sebagai zat pemlatis dalam pelarut tetrahidrofuran (THF) yang telah dikembangkan. ESI timbal (II) tipe kawat terlapis yang telah dibuat menunjukkan slope Nernstian sebesar 29,26 mV/dekade konsentrasi, rentang konsentrasi linier 10-5 – 10-1 M, dengan limit deteksi 1,185 x 10-5 M atau setara dengan 2,453 ppm timbal, dan waktu respon 60 detik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mempelajari pengaruh pH dan temperatur terhadap kinerja (ESI) timbal (II) tipe kawat terlapis berbasis S-methyl N-(methylcarbamoyloxy) thioacetimidate. Pengaruh pH dan temperatur terhadap kinerja ESI timbal (II) ditentukan dengan pengukuran respon potensial larutan timbal (II) dengan menggunakan buffer asetat pada pH 2 - 8 dan temperatur pada suhu 20 - 50 OC. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja ESI timbal (II) tipe kawat terlapis berbasis S-methyl N-(methylcarbamoyloxy) thioacetimidate optimum pada pH 7 dan tidak dipengaruhi oleh temperatur 20 - 50 OC.

English Abstract

Ion Selective Electrode (ESI) lead (II) based coated wire type S-methyl N-(methylcarbamoyloxy) thioacetimidate as the ionofor, polyvinylchloride (PVC) as the polymer matrix and dioktilftalat (DOP) as plasticizer inside solution Tetrahidrofuran (THF) have been developed. ESI lead (II) coated wire type which have been made show Nernstian slope of 29,26 mV/decade of concentration, linear concentration range of 10-5 – 10-1 M, with a detection limit of 1.185 x 10-5 M or equal to 2,453 ppm of lead, and a response time of 60 seconds. The purpose of this research is to study the effect of pH and temperature on the performance (ESI) lead (II) based coated wire type S-methyl N-(methylcarbamoyoxy) thioacetimidate. Effect of pH and temperature on the performance of ESI lead (II) was determined by measuring the potential response of lead (II) solution using acetate buffer at pH 2-8 and temperature of 20-50 oC. The results showed that the performance of ESI lead (II) based coated wire type S-methyl N-(methlcarbamoyloxy) thioacetimidate optimum at pH 7 and was not influenced by the temperature of 20-50 oC.
