Abstract
Pada skripsi ini diulas kembali sebuah jurnal berjudul A General Distribution Approximation Method for Mobile Network Traffic Modelling yaitu aproksimasi distribusi umum waktu pelayanan untuk model lalu lintas jaringan seluler. Diasumsikan dalam suatu sistem seluler terdapat sejumlah n panggilan yang masuk selama waktu t, panggilan tersebut merupakan suatu proses stokastik, sehingga dari n panggilan tersebut ada yang sukses dan ada yang terputus. Dalam skripsi ini dibahas penurunan model untuk menentukan peluang terdapat sejumlah k panggilan yang tetap aktif dari n panggilan yang masuk dalam sebuah sistem seluler dalam periode t. Penentuan peluang terdapat k panggilan yang tetap aktif P{A(t)=k} dilakukan dengan menurunkan model umum teori jaringan seluler dengan sifat proses Poisson dan distribusi Binomial serta menentukan pendekatan sebuah distribusi umum waktu pelayanan G(τ) yang diperoleh dengan memodifikasi distribusi Gauss berdasarkan ekspansi polinomial Hermit.
English Abstract
ABSTRACT This final project was reviewing an article which titled “A General Distribution Approximation Method for Mobile Network Traffic Modeling.” Assumed in a cellular system there are n number of incoming calls during a time t, those calls are stochastic processes, so that some of n calls are successful and some are disconnected. In this paper discussed the model to determine probability of k calls will be successfully connected in a cellular system from n calls on time t. Determination of the probability of the k calls which will be successfully connected P{A(t)=k} is by deductively calculating the general theoretical model of cellular networks with properties of Poisson process and Binomial distribution and determining the approximation of A General service time distribution G(τ) which obtained by modifying the Gaussian distribution by the Hermit polynomial expansio
