Abstract
Konsep ruang vektor atas field F₂ mengalami berbagai macam perkembangan. Berdasarkan ruang vektor atas field ini, muncul sebuah teori tentang kode. Contoh perkembangan teori kode adalah teori kode linear. Kode linear merupakan suatu subruang dari ruang vektor atas field berhingga. Kode linear ini secara umum menggunakan kode biner, yang merupakan suatu kode atas field F₂ dengan elemen satu dan nol. Dalam skripsi ini dibahas mengenai definisi, lemma, dan teorema yang berkaitan dengan kode linear atas field F₂ yang meliputi berat Hamming dan penentuan basis yang dapat direpresentasikan dalam bentuk matriks generator.
English Abstract
The concept of a vector space over field F₂ has a wide development. Based on the vector space over the field, there is a theory about the code. The code theory is one of examples of the development of linear codes theory. Linear code is a subspace of vector space over finite field. The linear codes generally use binary code, which is a code over finite field F₂with elements i.e., one and zero. In this paper, we discuss some the definitions, lemmas, and theorems related to a linear code over the field F₂ such as Hamming weight and base determination, which can be represented as a generator matrix.
