Azmi, SholifatulLiliana (2014) Diversitas Arthropoda Herbivor Pengunjung Padi Merah Di Sawah Organik Dengan Manipulasi Habitat Menggunakan Refugia Di Desa Sengguruh, Kepanjen. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.

Abstract

English Abstract

This research aimed to determine the community structure and diversity of herbivore Arthropods of a red paddy variety and to determine the influence of abiotic factors on herbivore Arthropods abundance in an organic agriculture in Sengguruh Village, Kepanjen. Herbivore Arthropods diversity were observed visually at each phase of rice growth. Measurement of abiotic factors consist of air temperature, relative humidity and light intensity were conducted in each observation. Analysis of quantative data was performed to find herbivore Arthropods abundance which will be used to determine the important value index (INP), Shannon-Wiener Diversity index (H’) and Bray-Curtis similarity index. The result showed that there were 268 individuals of herbivore Arthropods consisted of five orders and 3 families. Herbivore Arthropods diversities were classified as very low to moderate with a range of value from 0.92 to 2.72. There were differences of composition and herbivore Arthropods family abundance at each phase of rice growth. Herbivore Arthropods diversity value based on the observation distance from refugia block classified as moderate to high with a range of values from 2.28 to 3.13. The herbivore Arthropods abundance was negatively correlated with light intensity with correlation coefficient -0.79. Value R2 showed a score of 0.626. Air temperature and relative humidity have no correlation with herbivore Arthropods abundance.
