Abstract
Metode ASM yang dikeluarkan pada tahun 2012 dan Metode RDI yang dikeluarkan pada tahun 2013 digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah transportasi, kedua metode tersebut berbeda dengan Metode Stepping Stone yang menggunakan solusi awal dalam menentukan solusi optimal. Tujuan dari skripsi ini adalah mengetahui biaya transportasi minimum dengan ketiga metode tersebut serta membandingkannya. Pada contoh kasus dalam skripsi ini, Metode RDI memiliki algoritma yang lebih sederhana diterapkan dalam masalah transportasi. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa Metode RDI dan Stepping Stone menghasilkan biaya yang lebih optimal dan memiliki berturut-turut 10 iterasi dan 2 iterasi, sedangkan Metode ASM memiliki algoritma lebih rumit dengan 10 iterasi dan menghasilkan biaya yang tidak optimal. Hasil perhitungan biaya minimum menggunakan Metode ASM sebesar Rp 46.670.420,00, Metode RDI menghasilkan sebesar Rp 42.818.220,00, sedangkan Metode Stepping Stone menghasilkan sebesar Rp 42.818.220,00. Jadi dari ketiga metode tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Metode Stepping Stone dan RDI merupakan metode yang lebih efisien untuk meminimumkan biaya transportasi pada PT. English Abstract
ASM Method that published on 2012 and RDI method that published on 2013 are used to solve transportation problems, that is difference from Stepping Stone Method that uses initial solution to determine the optimal solution. The purpose of this paper is to compare the algorithm of three methods. In the case of this paper, RDI method has an algorithm that is simpler to apply in the transportation problem. Based on the result of the calculation indicate that the RDI and Stepping Stone Method produces optimal cost which have 10 iterations and 2 iterations, whereas ASM Method have an algorithm more difficult which have 10 iterations and the cost produce not optimal. Results of calculation using ASM Method is Rp 46,670,420.00, for RDI Method is Rp 42,818,220.00, while Stepping Stone Method produces Rp 42,818,220.00. So, it can be conclude of the three methods that the Stepping Stone and RDI Method are more efficient to minimize transportation costs in PT.Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk.
