Abstract

Telah dilakukan perancangan dan pembuatan sistem monitoring ketinggian air dengan metode telemetri. Alat perubahan ketinggian air menggunakan metode telemetri ini merupakan salah satu penerapan sistem komunikasi data yang bersifat wireless. Alat ini dapat mendeteksi perubahan ketinggian air dan memberikan informasi ketinggian air dari jarak jauh. Perangkat sistem ini terdiri dari sistem transmitter (pengirim) dan sistem receiver (penerima). Baik sistem transmitter maupun sistem receiver menggunakan mikrokontroler sebagai pengendali utama sistem. Data pengukuran ketinggian air dikirimkan secara wireless melalui sistem transmitter menuju ke sistem receiver dengan menggunakan radio transceiver YS-1020UB. Dari hasil pengujian sistem transmitter dan sistem receiver menunjukkan bahwa pengiriman dan penerimaan data melalui radio transceiver dapat bekerja dengan baik dan tidak terjadi interferensi dengan pemancar radio yang lain. Hal ini dibuktikan pada hasil pengujian sistem keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa data ketinggian air yang diterima oleh sistem receiver sesuai dengan data ketinggian air pada sistem transmitter.

English Abstract

Some planning and design of monitoring system have been done to the water level using telemetric method. This instrument is one kind of an instrument which applies the data communication system with wireless characteristic. The instrument has a capability for detecting the water level change and gives some information about water level from far. The system equipment of this instrument consists of transmitter system and receiver system. Both transmitter and receiver system use microcontroller as their main controller of the system. Measurement data of the water level is sent by a wireless manner through the transmitter system to the receiver system by using transceiver radio, YS-1020UB. Based on the observation result of both transmitter and receiver system, shows that both data transmitting and receiving through radio it is work well and doesn’t cause any interference with another radio transmitter. It proofed by the result of whole system test which show the data of water level received by receiver system suitable with the data of water level in transmitter system.
