Abstract

Bi-logistic growth model is combining two logistic models which consists of two sigmoid growth stages. The estimation of parameter model used an iterative non linear method with Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm. The accuration of model by using adjusted coefficient of determination ion ( 2 ) adjusted R . This research used the secondary data which was taken from Purwodadi’s Botanical Garden-Pasuruan, wich consisted of two treatment, that are with and without leaf-fertilizer. Based on the coefficient of determination, both model are suitable in describing the dutch teak tree growth, because of the value of 2 adjusted R is more than 0,98. The result of analysis show that the maximum height reached by dutch teak tree on treatment with leaffertilizer was higher than without leaf fertilizer, that are 50,85 cm for the first logistic model and 20,37 cm for the second; meanwhile, maximum height reached by the tree without leaf-fertilizer were 44,59 cm and 12,09 cm. The maximum growth rate of dutch teak tree with and without leaf-fertilizer were at 33 dap (days after planting) and 68 dap, and 30 dap and 68 dap, so that the maximum rate of growth for two treatment are quite even happen in 31 dap and 68 dap. The effective growth time occurred when the plant was aged 9-39 dap and 37-69 dap.
