Abstract
Homeband Universitas Universitas Brawijaya merupakan bagian dari Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Universitas Brawijaya yang memiliki masa jabatan 2 tahun. Untuk menjaga keberlangsungannya, maka diadakan seleksi Homeband Universitas Brawijaya setiap 2 tahun sekali. Permasalahan yang ditemui dalam seleksi yang sebelumnya adalah mekanisme penilaian yang tidak jelas. Hal ini menyebabkan waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menentukan personel menjadi lama dan hasil seleksi menjadi subjektif. Sistem seleksi yang sebelumnya juga sangat tidak efisien apabila jumlah pendaftar menjadi banyak, karena sistem seleksi yang sebelumnya menggunakan prosedur manual. Penelitian Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Pemilihan Personel Homeband Universitas Brawijaya ini menggunakan metode profile matching. Posisi yang dicari adalah vokalis pria, vokalis wanita, gitaris, pemain gitar bass, pemain keyboard dan drumer. Setiap posisi masing-masing memiliki 6 faktor penilaian, 6 faktor tersebut masing-masing terdiri dari 4 core factor dan 2 secondary factor. Hasil dari pengujian didapatkan akurasi sistem mencapai 83.3%, yaitu 5 dari 6 keluaran sistem merupakan personel yang dipilih oleh juri untuk menjabat sebagai personel Homeband Universitas Brawijaya. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan alat bantu untuk memilih Personel Homeband Universitas Brawijaya.
English Abstract
Brawijaya Homeband University is a part of Students Unit Activities which has 2 years of regulation. In maintaining its existence, a selection is held in every 2 years. One of the problems was faced in previous selection was unclear scoring mechanism. This problem made the duration in selecting the member of the homeband longer. Moreover, the selection result was subjective. This manual mechanism is not an efficient meachanism, moreover when the participants are more than before. Research of Decission Suport System for Members Homeband Brawijaya University selection was using profile matching technique. The positions which were wanted were male vocalist, female vocalist, guitarist, bassist, keyboardist and drummer. Every position has 6 scoring factors which consist of 4 core factors and 2 secondary factors. The result of this research shows the accuracy system was 83.8%, 5 of 6 members selected by the system are the members who also selected by the judges. Therefore, it can be concluded the result of this research can be used for assisting the Homeband of Brawijaya University member’s selection.
