Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data mengenai diversitas, kelimpahan dan operanan serangga diurnal pengunjung lima tanaman bunga pada tanaman gedung Grha Medika Universitas Brawijaya. Tanaman yang digunakan adalah bunga lilin [Pachystachys lutea], bunga iris kuning {neomarica longifolia], bunga pisang-pisangan [Heliconia aurentica], bunga Euphorbia [Euphorbia mili dan bunga Tahi Ayam [Lantana camara]. Pengamatan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode visual control Weisse dan Stettmer [1989]. Data yang diperoleh dikompilasi dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Kelimpahan serangga pengunjung tanaman Lilin terdapat 18 taksa, bunga Iris kuning sebanyak 23 taksa, bunga Pisang-pisangan sebanyak 21 taksa, bunga Euphorbia sebanyak 17 taksa dan bunga Tahi Ayam sebanyak 30 taksa. Peranan dari serangga pengunjung ke lima tanaman tersebut adalah sebagai plediator sebanyak 13 taksa yaitu Neoconcephalus, Macromiidae, Apidae, Eumenidae, Sphecidae, Vespidae, Formicidae, Coccinelidae, Salticidae, Araneidae, Tetragnathidae, dan Thomisidae.
English Abstract
The aims of this research are to know the diversity, abundance and important role of diurnal arthropods that visit five flowering plant in Graha Medika Garden University of Brawijaya Malang. Flowering plants used are i.e, Pachystachys lutea, Neomarica longifolia, Heliconia aurentica, Euphorbia milii and Lantana camara. The research conducted using visual control Weisse and Stettmer (1989) method. Data were compailed and analysed descriptively. The result shows that there were 18 taxa diurnal Arthropod visiting Pachystachys lutea, 23 taxa visiting Neomarica longifolia, 21 taxa visiting Heliconia aurentica, 17 taxa visiting Euphorbia milii and 30 taxa visiting Lantana camara. There are 13 taxa as predator i.e, Neoconcephalus, Macromiidae, Apidae, Eumenidae, Sphecidae, Vespidae, Formicidae, Stratiomydae, Delicophodidae, Sarcophagidae, Chlorophidae, Coccinelidae, Salticidae, Araneidae, Tetragnathidae, and Thomisidae; 10 taxa as a pests i.e, Cicadellidae, Arboridia, Pseudococcidae, Chrysomelidae, Calliphoridae, Muscidae, Drosophillidae, Chironomidae, Tephritidae and Bibionidae; 12 takses as pollinator as well as a pests i.e, Delias hyparate, Junonia lemonias, Junonia atlites, Hypolimnas bolina, Euploea cora, Danaus gilippus, Tirumala limniace, Junonia sp, Pseudergolis sp, Parnara ganga, Leptosia nina and Eurema brigitta; and as predator as well as a pollinator i.e, Apidae, Eumenidae, Sphecidae, Vespidae and Formicidae.
