Hidayati, Dita Retno (2007) Pengaruh kinetin pada pertumbuhan pegagan [Centella asiatica (L) Urban]. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
Masing-masing perlakuan diulang 3 kali. Panjang tangkai daun, luas daun, jumlah tangkai daun, panjang stolon, jumlah stolon diamati seminggu sekali. Frekuensi pemberian kinetin hanya mempengaruhi jumlah akar.
English Abstract
The aims of this research were to examine effect of concentration, spraying place and frequency of kinetin on Pegagan (Centella asiatica (L.) Urban) growth. The research was designed using Factorial Randomized Complete Design with 3 factors. The first factor was concentration of kinetin (0, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 ppm) each 10 ml in volume. The second factor was place of kinetin sprayed (leaf and lower end of shoot leaf). The third was frequency of kinetin application during 3 month observation (once on first week and twice on first and third week). Each treatment was repeated 3 times. The repeation as a group. Shoot length, leaf area, shoot number, length and number of stolon were observed once a week. Length and number of root as well as shoot, root and total of biomass were measured only at the end of the observation. Data were analyzed by using analysis of variance and multivariate (tukey; α=5%). Result of the research showed that concentration, place and frequency of kinetin application did not significantly affect on shoot length, leaf area, stolon number, root length and root biomass. Frequency of kinetin application only affected on root number. Shoot number, stolon length, shoot and total biomass were influenced significantly by kinetin concentration. The 20 ppm kinetin significantly provided better growth than all other tested concentration for increasing shoot number, stolon length, shoot and total of biomass. This means that Pegagan has better growth responses by application of kinetin with low concentration.
