Abstract

Padi merupakan tanaman yang cukup banyak dibudidayakan di Indonesia. Sedangkan Gulma merupakan tanaman yang dapat menurunkan hasil dari tanaman budidaya karena adanya persaingan dalam mendapatkan unsur hara, air, cahaya, dan ruang tumbuh. Salah satu upaya menanggulanginya adalah dengan melakukan penyiangan. Di Indonesia sendiri, proses penyiangan gulma sudah banyak yang menggunakan mesin. Salah satunya power weeder. Namun penggunaan power weeder tersebut masih memiliki kekurangan yaitu tidak mampu menyiangi dengan kondisi lahan yang memiliki kedalaman lumpur lebih dari 20 cm (kedalaman kaki orang di dalam Lumpur > 20 cm). Mesin penyiang gulma padi sistem gasrok merupakan mesin penyiang gulma padi yang dirancang untuk mengatasi permasalahan pertanian di Indonesia seperti yang sudah dibahas diatas. mesin penyiang gulma padi sistem gasrok ini memiliki dua roda yang sangat berperan penting dalam mengatasi kondisi lahan sawah yang memiliki kedalaman > 20 cm. berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan, mesin penyiang gulma padi (Oryza Sativa L) sistem gasrok ini mampu menanggulangi gulma dengan kedalaman lahan 6 - 21 cm. mesin penyiang gulma ini memiliki panjang sebesar 115 cm, lebar 110 cm, dan tinggi 58 cm. serta memiliki dua buah gasrok yang dijadikan sebagai pencabut gulmanya. Adapun kecepatan maksimal dari mesin penyiang gulma ini adalah 1.67 km / jam.

English Abstract

Paddy was a plant which fairly much cultivated in Indonesia). Meanwhile, Weeds was a plant that can disturb the growth of paddy plants. Because there were some competition to get nutrients, water, sunlight, and growing space. One of the effort to mitigate them is to do weeding. In Indonesian, the process of weeding weeds already used machines. One of them is power weeder. However the power weeder still have deficiencies that was not capable of weeding out with the condition of land that has a depth of mud more than20 cm (depth in feet of mud < 20 cm). Cultivator weeds machine which used gasrok system is cultivator paddy weeds machine which designed to solve agriculture problems in Indonesia that was discussed before. This cultivator paddy weeds machine have two wheels which very important to overcome land that has a depth more than 20 cm. based on observations, this cultivator paddy weeds machine with used gasrok system was capable to mitigate weeds on land which has a depth 6 – 21 cm. this cultivator weeds machine has length of 115 cm, width of 110 cm, and height of 58 cm. and it has two gasroks which used to a weed puller. While the maximum speed of this cultivator weeds machine is 1.67 km / hour.
