Abstract
Asrama MTsN 1 Malang terletak didalam sekolah MTsN 1 Malang yang ber-alamat di Jalan Bandung No. 7, Penanggungan, Klojen, Malang, Jawa Timur. Dibagian halaman depan sekolah ini biasanya terdapat penjual makanan seperti bakso, siomay, sempol, mie ayam, sate telur pada siang hari menggunakan gerobak motor. Sedangkan pada malam hari dibagian halaman depan sekolah terdapat penjual nasi goreng dan bakmie goreng dengan menggunakan gerobak. Jarak antara Asrama MTsN 1 Malang dan Mall (MATOS) hanya kurang lebih sekitar 1 km jika di konversikan ke dalam waktu maka sekitar 3 menit menuju ke mall. Mall tersebut menjual berbagai macam produk makanan cepat saji (fast food) terutama di KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) yang terdapat didalam mall tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui gambaran frekuensi pola konsumsi makanan cepat saji pada usia remaja di asrama MTs N 1 Malang Jawa Timur, mengetahui jenis fast food terbanyak yang dikonsumsi oleh remaja MTs N 1 Malang yang tinggal di asrama, mengetahui banyaknya kontribusi kalori dari jenis fast food terbanyak dikonsumsi oleh kalangan remaja MTs N 1 Malang yang tinggal di asrama Desain pada penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif cross-sectional study. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan metode stratified random sampling atau sampel random bertingkat. Sampel yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 61 siswa-siswi MTs Negeri 1 Malang. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode Food Recall 24H dan metode FFQ (Food Frequency Quisioner) untuk mengetahui asupan kalori dan frekuensi konsumsi fast food pada siswa-siswi MTs Negeri 1 Malang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan dari 61 responden dimana 31 siswa kelas 7 yang berjenis kelamin perempuan 16 siswa dan 15 siswa laki-laki, kemudian terdapat 30 siswa kelas 8 dimana 14 siswa berjenis kelamin perempuan sedangkan 16 siswa berjenis kelamin laki-laki. Rata-rata responden memiliki frekuensi pola konsumsi makanan cepat saji yang sering yaitu lebih dari sama dengan 2 kali per minggu (54,1%) dengan Indeks Massa Tubuh normal (52,5 %) dimana kecukupan energi tergolong cukup (57,4 %) dan asupan kalori kurang (34,4 %). Sebagian besar responden dengan kecukupan energi yang cukup memiliki frekuensi pola konsumsi makanan cepat saji sering (70,00 %), serta sebagian besar responden dengan asupan kalori lebih cenderung memiliki kecukupan energi yang cukup (40,00 %). Jenis fast food yang paling sering dikonsumsi oleh siswa-siswi asrama MTs N 1 malang yaitu french fries (36,1 %) dan bakso (34,4 %) viii Hasil uji statistik dengan menggunakan Chi-Square didapatkan terdapat hubungan antara frekuensi fast food dan kecukupan energi (p<0.05) dengan korelasi 0,008, tidak terdapat hubungan antara jenis fast food yang sering dikonsumsi dengan asupan kalori (p>0.05) dengan korelasi 0,254, dan terdapat hubungan antara asupan kalori dan kecukupan energi dengan korelasi 0,003 pada kalangan remaja MTs N 1 Malang yang tinggal di asrama.
English Abstract
MTs N 1 Malang dormitory located in the school of MTsN 1 Malang at Jl. Bandung no. 7, Penanggungan, Klojen, Malang, East Java. In front of the school there are a lot of food seller such as meatballs, dumpling, sempol, chicken noodle, sate telur during the day using the cart motor. While at night in front of the school there is fried rice and fried noodle seller using carts. The distance between MTs N 1 Malang Dormitory and Mall (MATOS) are about 1 km, and if converted into time aproximately 3 minutes to get to the mall. They are sell a lot of fast food products, especially in KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) was contained within the mall. The purpose of this study is to know description of frequency of fast food consumption pattern for adolescence lived in MTs N 1 Malang Jawa Timur dormitory, knowing the type of the fast food that often consumed by the adolescence of MTs N 1 Malang Jawa Timur who lived in dormitory, knowing the type of fast food most consumed by MTs N 1 Malang students who lived in dormitory, knowing the many contributions of calories from the kind of fast food most consumed by MTs N 1 Malang students who lived in dormitory. Design of this study is a descriptive cross-sectional study. Selection of the sampling used stratified random sampling method. Sample that were obtained in this study are 61 students of MTs Negeri 1 Malang. The method used in this study is Food recall 24H and FFQ (Food Frequency Questioner) method to know the calorie intake and the frequency of fast food consumption in students of MTs Negeri 1 Malang student. Based on the results of this research of 61 respondents in which 31 students in grade 7 were 16 female students and 15 male students, then there are 30 students in grade 8 in which 14 students are female while 16 students male sex. The average respondent has a frequency of fast food consumption patterns that often are more than equal to 2 times per week (54.1%) with normal Body Mass Index (52.5%) which was quite adequate energy (57.4%) and less caloric intake (34.4%). Most respondents to the adequacy of sufficient energy has a frequency of fast food consumption patterns often (70.00%), as well as the x majority of respondents to the calorie intake is more likely to have enough energy sufficiency (40.00%). Type fast food most frequently consumed by the students MTsN 1 dorm unfortunate that french fries (36.1%) and meatballs (34.4%) Results of statistical test by using Chi-Square found there is known that there is relation between the frequency of fast food and sufficient energy (P <0.05) with a correlation of 0.008, there is no relationship between the type of fast food is often consumed with calories (p> 0.05) with a correlation of 0.254, as well as there is a relation between caloric intake and energy sufficiency with a correlation of 0.003 in adolescence lived in In MTs N 1 Malang Jawa Timur Dormitory
