Abstract

Masalah umum yang sering dialami oleh para pekerja di industri adalah gangguan musculoskeletal disorders. UKM Novita adalah industri pembuatan makanan ringan yang memproduksi Carang Mas di desa Junrejo, Kota Batu. Kegiatan proses produksi yang masih menggunakan tenaga manusia terkadang tidak memperhatikan keamanan dan kenyaman dalam bekerja. Postur kerja yang buruk dan fasilitas kerja yang kurang baik menjadi faktor terjadinya keluhan gangguan MSDs. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan penilaian postur kerja pekerja saat melakukan proses produksi Carang Mas di UKM Novita dan menentukan postur kerja yang menjadi prioritas untuk usulan perbaikan berdasarkan nilai postur kerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan membagikan kuisioner Nordic Body Maps kepada para pekerja dan mengumpulkan data antropometri pekerja untuk perancangan fasilitas dan peralatan yang sesuai. Analisis postur menggunakan REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment) diterapkan untuk mengkaji postur pekerja pada saat proses produksi berada pada batas aman. Penelitian dilakukan pada tujuh pekerja yang terlibat dalam proses produksi Carang Mas pada UKM Novita. Berdasarkan Nordic Body Maps, keluhan yang dialami pekerja mulai dari sakit hingga sangat sakit adalah 87,5% mengeluh sakit di bagian pinggang, 75% mengeluh sakit di pinggang bagian bawah dan punggung serta 45% mengeluh sakit di bagian leher. Dari hasil penilaian menggunakan REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment) sebagian besar kegiatan produksi Carang Mas memiliki risiko tinggi sampai sangat tinggi. Beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan keluhan MSDs adalah postur kerja, waktu kerja serta fasilitas dan peralatan kerja yang tidak ergonomis. Untuk mengurangi keluhan MSDs, perusahaan disarankan agar memberikan fasilitas kerja dan peralatan yang ergonomis agar pekerja dapat bekerja dengan aman dan nyaman.

English Abstract

The common occupational problem of industrial workers is musculoskeletal disorders. Novita is a small snack industry which produces in Junrejo village, Batu. The production processes in Novita were done manually without considering the safety and comfort of the work. Bad working posture and bad working facilities become a major in complaints of musculoskeletal disorders.The aim of this research were to analyze the operators working posture in the production process and to determine the improved working posture. This research was conducted by using Nordic Body Maps questionnaire which were distributed to the workers. The antrophometric data were collected to design the facilities and equipment that fit to the workers. Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) then was applied to assess the working posture of operators.The respondents of this research were 7 workers in production division of Novita. Based on Nordic Body Maps questionnaire, there was in 87.5% of workers complain of aches in the waist, was in 75% lower back and spine and was in 45% in the neck. The result of REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assesment) showed that the most of production activities of the workers were in high to very high risk levels. Which were causes by work postures, working time and un-ergonomic arrangement of the facilities and equpiment. Novita should arrange the facilities and provide equipment to ensure the workers to working posture in safe condition.
