Prasetya, Irsyad Syawalufdin (2015) Studi Pengaruh Dosis Koagulan Dan Kecepatan Pengadukan Pada Pengolahan Limbah Cair Batik Tulis. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract

viii Irsyad Syawalufdin Prasetya. 115100201111029. Coagulant Dose Effect Study On Coagulation Process Liquid Waste Processing Batik Tulis. Final Assessment. Supervisor : Wahyunanto Agung Nugroho, STP., M.Eng. dan Ir. Mustofa Lutfi, MP. SUMMARY Batik industry is one of the emerging industries in Indonesia, the industry is expected to have a wastewater treatment plant that liquid waste discharged into the environment have low levels of pollutants and environmentally friendly. The tools used for coagulation is Jar Test for implements selected research activities conducted at the Laboratory of Physical Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, University of Brawijaya. This study is expected to provide an analysis of the effect of variations in the coagulant and the optimum dosage for the reduction of the levels of COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), TSS (Total Suspended Solid) and TDS (Total Disolved Solid) in wastewater of batik tulis. Data is presented in tabular form observations and statistical analysis using analysis (ANOVA). Furthermore, treatment and interaction between treatment showed significant differences tested by DMRT (Duncan's Multiple Range Test). The results showed a decrease in all three parameters with different levels of effectiveness between Alum coagulant and PAC. The highest percentage of decline in COD values seen in the use of coagulants PAC percentage decreased by 45.43%, the highest percentage of TSS impairment seen in the use of coagulants PAC percentage decreased by 95.45%, the highest percentage of impairment TDS looks at the use of a coagulant PAC with a percentage decrease of 76.41%
