Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan jenis dan konsentrasi fiksator (tawas, kapur dan tunjung) terhadap intensitas warna, ketahanan luntur, kerataan warna dan ketuaan warna kain mori batik menggunakan pewarna alami kunyit. Metode penelitian menggunakan RAK dengan 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah jenis fiksator yaitu tawas, kapur dan tunjung. Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi fiksator yaitu 10%, 15% dan 20% (b/v). Hasil perlakuan terbaik menggunakan Multiple Attribute, yaitu pada perlakuan fiksator tawas dengan konsentrasi 15% (b/v) dengan rerata nilai intensitas warna yaitu nilai intensitas warna merah (a*) sebesar 18,85; intensitas warna kuning (b*) sebesar 37,9; tingkat kecerahan (L*) sebesar 52,3; perbedaan warna (∆E) sebesar 3,8 (pengaruh sedang), artinya proses fiksasi atau penguncian warna memberikan pengaruh sedang terhadap nilai intensitas warna (a*, b* dan L*). Rerata nilai uji ketahanan luntur warna terhadap gosokan kering dan basah menunjukkan nilai stainning scale (penodaan warna) sebesar 4 (baik) dan 3 (cukup). Rerata uji ketahanan luntur warna terhadap pencucian nilai grey scale (skala abu-abu) dan staining scale (penodaan warna) sebesar 2-3 (kurang) dan 3-4 (cukup baik). Rerata skor uji penerimaan produsen dan konsumen (kerataan dan ketuaan warna) dihasilkan pada parameter kerataan warna, konsumen dan produsen memberikan penilaian sebesar 6,38 (menyukai) dan 6,39 (menyukai). English Abstract

The research aimed at knowing the influence of difference fixative materials and concentration to color intensity, color fastness, color flatness, color oldness of “batik calico” using natural dye of turmeric. The research used Randomized Block Design with two factors. The first factor was fixative materials, that were alum, calcium oxyde and ferro sulfat. The second factor was fixative material concentration, that was 10%, 15% and 20% (b/v). The best treatment determined by using Multiple Attribute, was obtained by alum as fixative material with concentration of 15% (b/v). The everage value of with color intensity of redness intensity (a*), yellowness intensity (b*), brightness (L*) value of 18,85; 37,9; 52,23 respectively.The color differences value (∆E) was 3,8 which showed moderate influence. Test of wet and dry rub resistance showed Staining Scale (SS) of 4(great) and 3 (enough). While the laundering durability showed Grey Scale (GS) and Staining Scale (SS) of 2- 3 (less) and 3-4 (good enough). Test of general and expert respondents acceptance (flatness and oldness color) results of flatness color, consumer and producer give value of 6,38 (like) and 6,39 (like).
