Abstract

Gula merupakan kebutuhan pokok masyarakat. Setiap tahun konsumsi gula meningkat. Produksi gula nasional yang tidak optimal menyebabkan impor gula semakin meningkat, sehingga perlu ada peningkatan produksi dalam negeri. PG Kebon Agung merupakan salah satu produsen yang turut berperan memenuhi kebutuhan gula nasional. Banyak kendala yang dihadapi PG Kebon Agung dalam memproduksi gula, salah satunya adalah ketersediaan bahan baku. Perusahaan harus melakukan optimasi persediaan bahan baku agar tidak terjadi kekurangan maupun kelebihan bahan baku. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jumlah persediaan bahan baku optimal dalam menjaga kelancaran proses produksi gula. Metode optimasi persediaan bahan baku gula (tebu) menggunakan logika Fuzzy dengan metode Mamdani dan metode Sugeno. Kedua metode dibedakan berdasar proses defuzzyfikasinya. Fuzzy Mamdani menggunakan proses centroid, sedangkan Fuzzy Sugeno menggunakan metode weighted average. Beberapa data yang digunakan dalam perhitungan persediaan bahan baku gula antara lain data tebu di lahan, data tebu di emplasemen, dan data giling (produksi). Hasil optimasi persediaan bahan baku gula dengan metode Fuzzy Mamdani dan Sugeno menghasilkan jumlah yang sama yakni sebesar 10.500 ton tebu per hari. Kapasitas maksimum di emplasemen sebesar 10.504 tth sehingga jumlah persediaan optimum tidak melebihi kapasitas maksimum, dan kondisi lalu lintas di sekitar pabrik tidak terganggu antrian truk yang meluber ke jalan. Persentase gap antara kapasitas maksimum dan hasil optimum sebesar 0,038%, yang menunjukkan bahwa tidak banyak kapasitas emplasemen yang terbuang sehingga hasil optimasi dapat dikatakan baik. Biaya ii persediaan yang dihasilkan berdasarkan metode Mamdani dan Sugeno sebesar Rp. 4.090.140.238,00. Hasil riset membantu agar perusahaan melakukan penjadwalan tanam, tebang, dan angkut sehingga tebu di emplasemen optimal.

English Abstract

Sugar is a primary needs of people. The consumption of sugar is increasing annualy, domestic sugar production has not been sufficient and it cause the increasing sugar imports. Therefore, it is very important to increase the domestic sugar production. PG Kebon Agung is one of the companies that contributed to meet the needs of the sugar in the country. There are many obstacles faced by PG Kebon Agung in producing sugar, one of them is the availability of raw materials. Company must perform optimization of inventories of raw materials in order to avoid shortage or excess raw materials. The purpose of this study was to determine the optimal amount of raw material inventory in ensuring a smooth process of sugar production. The methods used to optimize the raw material sugar (cane) inventory were Fuzzy Logic Mamdani and Sugeno. The difference between the two methods was process of defuzzyfication, wherein the method of Fuzzy Mamdani defuzzyfication process used centroid method, while the Fuzzy Sugeno used weighted average method. The data used for this inventory optimization were data in the fields of sugar cane, data of sugar cane in the emplacement, and data of production. Results of sugar raw materials inventory optimization with Fuzzy Mamdani and Sugeno methods produce the same amount which was equal to 10,500 ton cannes per day. The maximum capacity of emplacement was 10.504 tcd so that the optimum amount of inventory does not exceed the maximum capacity and around the plant was not crowded due to the long queue of the tracks. The gap percentage between maximum capacity and optimum amount at 0,038%, which indicated that the capacity of emplacement is not much under capacity it could be concluded that the result of optimization was quite good. iv Inventory costs generated by Mamdani and Sugeno method was Rp. 4,090,140,238.00. The result research can be help company to scheduling for sugarcane cultivation and provide adequate transportation means in order to supply the raw material in the emplacement can be optimized.
