Abstract

Mikroalga (Nannochloropsis oculata) adalah salah satu mikroorganisme bersel satu yang termasuk dalam kelas Eustigmatophyceae yang dikenal sebagai marine chlorella dan umumnya dibudidayakan di pembenihan ikan sebagai pakan rotifer. Nannochloropsis oculata. Mempunyai peranan penting dalam suatu kegiatan pembenihan karena kandungan nutrisinya yang tinggi Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian auksin sintetik asam naftalena asetat terhadap laju pertumbuhan mikroalga (Nannochloropsis oculata). Masing – masing perlakuan yaitu A0 (tanpa penambahan auksin asam naftalena asetat), A2 (auksin asam naftalena asetat 2 ppm), A4 (auksin sintetik asam naftalena asetat 4 ppm), A6 (auksin sintetik asam naftalena asetat 6 ppm), A8 (auksin sintetik asam naftalena asetat 8 ppm). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertumbuhan populasi Nannochloropsis oculata mencapai kenaikan puncak hari ke- 6 pada A6 (1.1096 x 106 sel/ml), A8 (1.0043 x 106 sel/ml), A0 (0.8713 x 106 sel/ml), A2 (0.8868 x 106 sel/ml) dan A4 (0.9049 x 106 sel/ml). Dari masing – masing perlakuan dosis pemberian auksin sintetik asam naftalena asetat, A0 menghasilkan rata – rata laju pertumbuhan maksimal (μmaks) Nannochloropsis oculata sebesar (0.203827 sel/ml/hari); A2 sebesar (0.227957 sel/ml/hari); perlakuan A4 sebesar (0.240584 sel/ml/hari); Perlakuan A6 sebesar (0.269752 sel/ml/hari); dan perlakuan A8 sebesar (0.249212 sel/ml/hari). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan pemberian dosis auksin sintetik asam naftalena asetat yang berbeda akan memberikan laju pertumbuhan maksimum (μmaks) populasi Nannochloropsis oculata yang berbeda pula.

English Abstract

Microalgae (Nannochloropsis oculata) are one-celled microorganisms which belongs to a class known as marine Eustigmatophyceae chlorella and generally cultivated in hatchery fish as feed rotifers. Nannochloropsis oculata. Have an important role in a seeding activity because of high nutritional content. In this study aims to determine the effect of the synthetic auxin naphthalene acetic acid on the rate of growth of microalgae (Nannochloropsis oculata). Each treatment are A0 (without the addition of auxin naphthalene acetic acid), A2 (auxin naphthalene acetic acid 2 ppm), A4 (naphthalene acetic acid synthetic auxin 4 ppm), A6 (naphthalene acetic acid synthetic auxin 6 ppm), A8 (auxin synthetic naphthalene acetic acid 8 ppm). The results showed population growth Nannochloropsis oculata reach the peak increase at day 6 on A6 (1.1096 x 106 cells / ml), A8 (1.0043 x 106 cells / ml), A0 (0.8713 x 106 cells / ml), A2 (0.8868 x 106 cells / ml) and A4 (0.9049 x 106 cells / ml). Of each treatment dose addition of naphthalene acetic acid synthetic auxin, A0 generates an average maximum growth rate (μmaks) Nannochloropsis oculata of (0.203827 cells/ml/day); A2 by (0.227957 cells/ml/day); treatment of A4 (0.240584 cells/ml/day); treatment of A6 (0.269752 cells/ml/day); and treatment of A8 (0.249212 cells/ml/day). This suggests that the administration of different doses of naphthalene acetic acid synthetic auxin will give maximum growth rate (μmaks) different population of Nannochloropsis oculata.
