Abstract
PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII (Persero) Bantaran, Blitar merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam industri perkebunan yang memproduksi Teh Hitam CTC (Crush Tear Curl) sebagai produk unggulan. Saat ini, PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII (Persero) Bantaran, Blitar sedang menghadapi beberapa masalah terkait biaya atau ongkos pemindahan bahan (Material Handling) yang tidak ditentukan oleh pihak perusahaan dalam melaksanakan kegiatan proses produksinya. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut maka perlu dilakukan rancangan layout pada lantai produksi PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII (Persero) Bantaran, Blitar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan biaya pemindahan bahan yang belum ditentukan oleh perusahaan, biaya pemindahan bahan yang optimal untuk perusahaan serta layout usulan untuk perusahaan. Penelitian tentang perencanaan ulang tata letak fasilitas produksi pada PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII (Persero) Bantaran, Blitar ini dilakukan dengan menganalisis tata letak awal, data aliran barang (from to chart), jarak perpindahan awal, jumlah departemen yang tetap dan asumsi biaya pemindahan bahan. Analisis tersebut digunakan untuk mengetahui biaya pemindahan bahan dan jarak pemindahan bahan saat ini di PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII (Persero) Bantaran, Blitar. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan Algoritma Craft dengan bantuan software WinQsb 2.0 guna menghasilkan layout usulan dengan tujuan meminimasi jarak pemindahan bahan sehingga biaya untuk pemindahan bahan juga akan semakin minimal. Ada 4 metode pertukaran pada Craft, yaitu improve exchanging 2 departments, improve exchanging 3 departments, improve x exchanging 2 then 3 departments dan improve exchanging 3 then 2 departments. Hasil dari pengolahan data Craft dengan metode pertukaran improve exchanging 2 departments, improve exchanging 2 then 3 departments dan improve exchanging 3 then 2 departments yang telah disesuaikan dengan keadaan aktual memberikan hasil yang sama dengan total jarak perpindahan sebesar 8.758,04 m untuk menghasilkan sekitar 2 ton Teh Hitam (CTC) per hari. Selain itu, ongkos pemindahan bahan adalah sebesar Rp. 543,5 per meter, total OMH sebesar Rp.4.759.797 per hari atau Rp.1.370.821.536 per tahun yang mengalami penurunan sebesar Rp. 34.119.648 atau 2,42 % dari total OMH layout awal serta adanya perubahan bentuk pada layout usulan. Layout usulan yang dapat digunakan oleh PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII (Persero) Bantaran, Blitar adalah salah satu dari 3 metode pertukaran yang memberikan total jarak yang sama tersebut.
English Abstract
PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII (Persero) Bantaran Blitar is a company enganged in the manufacture of industrial estates Black Tea CTC (Crush Tear Curl) as a superior product. Currently PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII (Persero) Bantaran Blitar is facing some problems related to the transfer of material costs or expenses (Material Handling) are not determined by the company in carrying out the activities of the production process. Based on these problems it’s necessary to design layout production PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII (Persero) Bantaran, Blitar. The purpose of this study was to determine the cost of removal of material that has not been determined by the company, the optimal material removal costs for the company as well as the proposed layout for the company. Research on redesign the layout of production facilities at PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII (Persero) Bantaran Blitar is done by analyzing the initial layout, data flow of goods (from to chart), the initial dispalcement distance, the number of departments and assuming a fixed cost of moving materials. The analysis is used to determine the replacement cost of materials and displacement current distance PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII (Persero) Bantaran, Blitar. The method used in this study is the Craft Algorithm with the software WinQsb 2.0 to produce the layout of the proposal with the goal of minimizing the total distance of the removal of the materials so that the cost for the removal of materials will also be minimal. There are four methods of exchange or Craft namely improve exchanging 2 departments, improve exchanging 3 departments, improve exchanging 2 then 3 departments and improve exchanging 3 then 2 departments. The result of data processing Craft improve exchanging 2 departments, , improve exchanging 2 then 3 departments and xii improve exchanging 3 then 2 departments that have been adapted to the actual state gives the same result with a total displacement distance of 8.758,04 m to produce about two tons of Black Tea (CTC) per days. In addition, the cost of removal of material is Rp.543,5 per meters, totals OMH for Rp.4.759.797 per days or Rp. 1.370.821.536 per years decreased by Rp.34.119.648 or 2,42 % of the initial layout OMH totals as well as a change in the shape pf the proposed layout. Layout proposal that can be used by PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII (Persero) Bantaran Blitar is one of three methods of exchange that gives the same total distance.
