Abstract
Peningkatan jumlah penduduk, industri, dan eksploitasi terhadap alam secara tidak terkendali tentunya berakibat buruk terhadap sistem daya dukung lingkungan. Menanggapi hal tersebut, maka perlu adanya suatu pengendalian dalam upaya pelestarian daya dukung lingkungan. Salah satu aspek daya dukung lingkungan yang harus diperhatikan adalah aspek sumberdaya air, dimana air menjadi hal utama yang tidak bisa lepas dari kehidupan ini. Kondisi lingkungan hidup di Indonesia saat ini banyak mengalami kerusakan lingkungan air yang layak pakai, disamping kekeringan dan banjir yang sering terjadi. Penurunan ketersediaan air banyak disebabkan oleh kerusakan lingkungan di daerah tangkapan air. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan antara ketersediaan dan kebutuhan air pada suatu wilayah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode analisis spasial dengan membandingkan jumlah ketersediaan air dan jumlah kebutuhan air di Kota Batu. Ketersediaan air yang di hitung ada 3 yaitu, ketersediaan air industri, penduduk, dan irigasi. Perhitungan kebutuhan air irigasi pada penelitian ini di batasi hanya memperhitungkan beberapa tanaman mayoritas saja, sedangkan untuk ketersediaan air yang diperhitungkan pada penelitian ini adalah air hujan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kebutuhan air Kecamatan Batu sebesar 14.589.381 m3/tahun, Kecamatan Bumiaji sebesar 21.662.736 m3/tahun, dan Kecamatan Junrejo sebesar 14.658.142 m3/tahun. Untuk ketersediaan air Kecamatan Batu sebesar 288.799.232 m3/tahun, Kecamatan Bumiaji sebesar 2.983.425.024 m3/tahun, dan Kecamatan Junrejo sebesar 100.108.664 m3/tahun. Status daya dukung lingkungan untuk Kecamatan Batu surplus dengan rasio 19,8, Kecamatan Bumiaji surplus dengan rasio 137,7, dan kecamatan Junrejo surplus dengan rasio 6,8.
English Abstract
The Increase of population, industry, and nature exploitation in an uncontrollable make a worst impact for enviroment supportive system. Means, we need to control enviroment support system conservation efforts. One of aspect the enviroment support system that must be considered is water resource, where, water is the main thing that cannot be removed from our life. Indonesia conditions now days has suffered damage of water, which is it still worth, beside floods and droughts. Decreasing water supply is caused by enviroment damage in water catchment area. This research was meant to find out the comparision between the availability and demand of waters in an area. This research methods used spatial analysis by comparing the availability and demand of waters in Batu city. The water availability which is calculate are 3, they are population, industry, and irrigation. The calculation of water irrigation on this research only take into accounts of several majority plants, meanwhile availability of waters only taken into accounts is rain waters. Based on the result of this research was obtained water demand for Batu sub-district is 14.589.381 m3/year, Bumiaji sub-district is 21.662.736 m3/year, and Junrejo sub-district is 14.658.142 m3/year. Water availability of Batu sub-district is 288.799.232 m3/year, Bumiaji sub-disrict is 2.983.425.024 m3/year, and Junrejo sub-district is 100.108.664 m3/year.
