Abstract
PG. Kebon Agung Malang merupakan sebuah industri berbasis pertanian yang mengolah komoditas hasil pertanian berupa tebu. Komoditas pertanian yang diolah berasal dari kebun tebu milik petani dan perusahaan yang terletak di berbagai daerah di Jawa Timur. Kegiatan produksi pada PG Kebon Agung terbagi dalam dua sektor kerja yang meliputi bagian produksi dan manajerial. Saat ini PG. Kebon Agung mengalami permasalahan pada bagian manajerial khususnya pada personalia yang mengalami kendala dalam proses pemberian pesangon karyawan yang akan mengalami masa pensiun. Selama ini aplikasi komputasi yang digunakan hanyalah mengandalkan aplikasi Microsoft Excel sehingga dalam melakukan perhitungan dan penyimpanan data aplikasi ini masih belum mampu mencukupi kebutuhan sebagai aplikasi yang seharusnya bersifat praktis dan mudah digunakan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat sebuah aplikasi perhitungan pensiun yang akurat dan mudah digunakan yang bernama REPS (Retired Payment System) sebagai solusi dari permasalahan tersebut. Aplikasi REPS dibuat dengan menggunakan Borland Delphi sebagai perancang prototipe dan beberapa aplikasi lain sebagai pendungkung untuk melakukan desain aplikasi. Basisdata yang digunakan adalah MySQL karena MySQL merupakan DBMS (Database Management System) yang handal dan mampu mendukung di segala platform. Metode perhitungan pensiun yang digunakan terdapat dua macam yaitu perhitungan dana pensiun bagi karyawan tetap dan kampanye yang mengacu pada undang-undang perjanjian kerja bersama yang telah digunakan oleh perusahaan sebagai dasar peraturan yang berlaku. Faktor-faktor yang digunakan sebagai acuan perhitungan dana pensiun meliputi upah pokok terakhir, golongan gaji, dan lama masa kerja karyawan di perushaan. Aplikasi perhitungan dana pensiun REPS mampu melakukan proses komputasi perhitungan dana pensiun dengan cepat mudah dan akurat. Hasil uji verifikasi dan uji validasi yang telah dilakukan memberikan kesimpulan bahwa prototipe REPS telah terverifikasi dan valid. Aplikasi REPS dinyatakan lulus uji coba dan siap untuk digunakan.
English Abstract
PG. Kebon Agung Malang is an agriculture based industry that process agricultural commodities such as sugar cane. The raw material sources of this industry is owned by itself and farmers which are located in East Java. Production activities at PG. Kebon Agung is divided into two sectors, i.e. the production and managerial sectors. PG Kebon Agung has been having problem in particular on the managerial personnel which has obstacles in the process of granting severance payment for retired employees. Personel division has been only relying Microsoft. Excel in its work so that in doing calculations and data storage applications is still not able to meet the needs of the application that should be practical and easy to use. The purpose of this study is to make an accurate calculation application for employees retired and easy to use that named REPS (Retired Payment System) as a solution to these problems. REPS application was created using Borland Delphi as designer prototype and several other applications as support for applications design. MySQL was used as database because MySQL is a DBMS (Database Management System) that reliable and able to support in all platforms. There are two kinds of retirement calculation method, i.e. the retirement fund for permanent employees and campaign refer to policy of agreements that have been used by companies as a basis for regulations. The factors used as the reference of calculation includes main salary, salary scale, and length of service of employees in company. Calculation of retirement funds REPS applications was capable in performing the computational calculation of retirement funds quickly easily and accurately. The results of verification and validation testing showed that the REPS prototype has been verified and valid. So that, this application is ready to use.
