Abstract
SD Brawijaya Smart School merupakan sebuah institusi penyelenggara pendidikan dan pengajaran yang dikelola oleh Unit Pelaksana Teknik (UPT) dan didirikan berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Rektor Universitas Brawijaya. SD Brawijaya Smart School memiliki proses bisnis utama yaitu penyelenggaraan pendidikan dan pengajaran yang didukung oleh proses bisnis pendukung yang tidak kalah penting dalam menjalankan kegiatan internal organisasi. Dalam menjalankan seluruh proses bisnisnya, SD Brawijaya Smart School masih menggunakan cara manual yang mengakibatkan banyak kegiatan dengan tujuan sama dilakukan berulang. Hal ini mengurangi efisiensi kinerja pegawai sehingga membuat pengimplementasian proses bisnis menjadi lebih lama. Selain itu tidak adanya batasan khusus terkait pembagian tugas, alur dan waktu pengerjaan yang dituangkan dalam bentuk Standar Operational Prosedur (SOP) membuat pengerjaan menjadi tidak terarah dan subjektif. Pemodelan dan optimalisasi proses bisnis menjadi fokus penelitian yang diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan guna mendukung jalannya proses bisnis utama maupun pendukung pada internal SD Brawijaya Smart School. Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) dipilih pada tahap pemodelan untuk selanjutnya dilakukan evaluasi proses bisnis dan diterapkan 12 tools streamlining yang terdapat pada Business Process Improvement (BPI). Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu mengevaluasi proses bisnis yang sudah berjalan sehingga dapat menjadi pertimbangan untuk perbaikan di kemudian hari.
English Abstract
Brawijaya Smart School Elementary School is an institution of education and teaching organizer which managed by Unit Pelaksana Teknik (UPT) and was established by decree of Brawijaya Universitys Rector. Brawijaya Smart School Elementary School providing education and teaching as key business processes which supported by supporting business processes to running organizations internal activities. The entire of Brawijaya Smart School Elementary School’s business processes still use manual way. It makes a lot of activities with the same goal repeated. It reduces the efficiency of employee’s performance and makes the implementation of the business process becomes longer. Beside that, there is no Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) which is contain the specification of the division of tasks, workflow and processing time makes working become unfocused and subjectively. Modeling and optimization of business processes becomes the focus of research to provide recommendations for improvement in order to support the key business processes. Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) is selected in the modeling phase then 12 tools streamlining in Business Process Improvement (BPI) applied to evaluate the business processes. Hopefully, the results of this study can help evaluate the existing business processes so it can be reference consideration for maintenance later.
