Abstract
Semakin majunya perkembangan dunia komunikasi dan informasi membuat semakin bervariasinya device yang dapat digunakan. Perkembangan dan perbedaan device inilah yang mendorong adanya web service. Dengan sifatnya yang independen terhadap OS, platform, maupun bahasa pemrograman membuat web service begitu terkenal, terutama untuk pendistribusian konten ke user dalam hal media pembelajaran online atau sering disebut e-learning. Belajardisini.com merupakan e-learning yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Brawijaya. Belajardisini.com juga menggunakan web service bertipe REST. Untuk melakukan analisis terhadap kinerja web service, dapat dilakukan dengan Runscope. Runscope melakukan panggilan terhadap web service layaknya user untuk mendapatkan response time, traffic, maupun success ratio sebagai balasan. Pengujian akan dilakukan pada dua web service uji, yaitu api.kuliahbersama.com/depan/kelas dan api.kuliahbersama.com/login/ceklogin. Pengujian pada kedua web service tersebut akan terdiri dari dua pengujian, yaitu pengujian availability dan pengujian terhadap pengaruh jumlah user. Pengujian availability akan menggunakan parameter success ratio. Sedangkan pada pengujian terhadap jumlah user menggunakan parameter response time. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah tingkat availability yang baik, mencapai 100%. Pengaruh jumlah user juga mempengaruhi kinerja, namun web service masih tetap dapat menyediakan service berupa informasi dalam waktu 606,67 ms setiap service-nya.
English Abstract
Communnication and information world still developing day by day was make many various device that we can use. Device evolution and diversity that has encourage web service presence. With independent of OS, platform, an programming languange character, make web service really popular especially for contents distribution on online learning media or “e-learning”. Belajardisini.com is e-learning of Computer Science ‘s student in Brawijaya University and using web service with REST type. For analyze web service’s performace, we can use Runscope. runscope make a call to web service just like ordinary user to get response time, traffic and success ratio as a response. In this reasearch will tested 2 (two) web service are api.kuliahbersama.com/depan/kelas and api.kuliahbersama.com/login/ceklogin. Testing for 2 (two) web service also contains of 2 (two) test. First, availability testing and second is number of user. In availability testing, parameter used is success ratio and for number of users testing, parameter used is response time. The result of the testing are web service has good availability with result testing 100%. Number of user also affected for web service performance but web service still give a service as information in 606,67 ms per a service.
