Abstract
Berkembangnya teknologi perangkat bergerak membuat sebuah alternatif solusi baru untuk membantu segala aktivitas manusia, terutama dalam pengembangan dan penerapan pemilihan secara elektronik (E-Voting). Pengembangan aplikasi pada perangkat bergerak memiliki kelebihan yang membuat proses pemilihan dapat dilakukan dengan mudah dan efisien. Penggunaan teknologi mobile dalam pembuatan electronic voting masih menggunakan pesan singkat atau SMS (Short Messages Service) dengan memanfaatkan layanan SMS Gateway. Layanan tersebut dalam pemilihan masih menggunakan format pesan singkat dan fitur yang disediakan hanya pada memilih kandidat saja sehingga tidak ada fitur pendukung yang lain mengakibatkan pada kemudahan dalam proses pemilihan. Pada pembuatan e-voting ini juga terdapat standar kriteria, kriteria tersebut terdiri dari democracy, privacy, accuracy, fairness, veriafiability, dan recoverability. Dari latar belakang masalah tersebut, peneliti akhirnya memiliki gagasan untuk membuat dan mengimplementasikan sistem aplikasi e-voting dengan menggunakan perangkat mobile berbasis android agar memudahkan para peserta didalam proses pemilihan calon kandidat dan sesuai dengan standar kriteria voting sesuai dengan penjelasan sebelumnya. Hasil pengujian yang dilakukan pada sistem aplikasi mobile e-voting dengan menggunakan platform android menunjukkan bahwa penerapan konsep pemilihan calon kandidat yang dibuat pada aplikasi mobile e-voting ini telah berhasil diterapkan. Penerapan proses pemilihan yang ada didalam aplikasi mobile e-voting ini meliputi pemilihan calon kandidat, akses informasi calon, akses informasi peserta, melihat informasi pengumuman, dan proses login sebagai bentuk verifikasi pengguna terdaftar agar bisa menggunakan aplikasi e-voting. Kemudian didalam hal pengambilan dan pemasukan data, aplikasi ini telah berhasil melakukan proses komunikasi dengan web service menggunakan JSON sebagai pertukaran paket data antara aplikasi terhadap server. Dalam penerapan penggunaan perangkat android yang dapat dijalankan oleh aplikasi mobile e-voting ini, maka perangkat tersebut minimal menggunakan sistem operasi android versi 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) atau diatasnya.
English Abstract
The development of mobile technology to create a new alternative solution to help all human activity, especially in the development and implementation of election electronically (E-Voting). The development of applications on mobile devices has advantages which make the selection process can be done easily and efficiently. The use of mobile technology in the manufacture of electronic voting is still using the short message or SMS (Short Messages Service) by using SMS Gateway services. In the selection of the services still use the short message format and features provided only on a candidate only so that no other supporting features that lead to ease in the selection process. In the creation of e-voting are also standard criteria, these criteria consist democracy, privacy, accuracy, fairness, veriafiability, and recoverability. From the background of the problem, researchers finally had the idea to create and implement an e-voting system applications using android based mobile devices in order to facilitate the participants in the process of selecting candidates and voting in accordance with standard criteria in accordance with the previous description. Results of tests performed on the system of e-voting mobile application using android platform shows that the application of the concept of election candidate who made the mobile application of e-voting has been successfully applied. The application of the selection process that is in mobile applications include e-voting election candidates, candidate information access, access to participant information, see the announcement, and the login process as a form of verification of registered users to be able to use e-voting applications. Then in terms of retrieval and data entry, this application has successfully established a communication process with a web service using JSON as the data exchange between the application packet to the server. In the application the use of android devices that can be executed by the mobile application of e-voting, then the device is minimal use android operating system version 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) or higher.
