Abstract
Watukursi merupakan jaringan irigasi yang mengairi 386 ha dan disuplai kebutuhan air irigasinya dari Sungai Lekso melalui Bendung Kedung Cabak. Seiring berjalannya waktu muncul permasalahan berupa kekurangan air di beberapa periode tanam, permasalahan ini kemungkinan terjadi akibat borosnya pemakaian air di hulu sehingga di hilir seringkali kekurangan air di musim kemarau. Studi ini dilaksanakan untuk penghematan air irigasi di Saluran Sekunder Bendung Kedung Cabak. Perhitungan air irigasi berdasarkan faktor jarak adalah kebutuhan air irigasi yang ditambahkan dengan perhitungan kehilangan air. Sedangkan perhitungan tanpa berdasarkan faktor jarak juga dilakukan sebagai nilai pembanding besarnya debit kebutuhan air irigasi. Dari hasil perhitungan didapatkan pemberian air irigasi berdasarkan faktor jarak di Saluran Sekunder Bendung Kedung Cabak rata-rata sebesar 1,973 m3/dt dan pemberian air irigasi tanpa berdasarkan faktor jarak rata-rata sebesar 2,512 m3/dt, sehingga terdapat penghematan konsumsi air sebesar 0,539 m3/dt. Indeks Penggunaan Air (IPA) pada Saluran Sekunder Bendung Kedung Cabak berada di kelas Baik sebesar 81% (29 kali dari 36 periode) dan kelas Sedang sebesar 19% (7 kali dari 36 periode), sehingga pemberian air irigasi berdasarkan faktor jarak layak untuk diaplikasikan di Jaringan Irigasi Watukursi.
English Abstract
Watukursi is a network of irrigation which irrigate 386 ha and supplied irrigation water from the Lekso River through the Kedung Cabak Weir. Over time problems arise in the form of deficit water in some of the planting period, this problem may happen due to wasteful use of water in upstream so in downstream is often deficit in the dry season. This study was implemented to saving of irrigation water in the Secondary Channel of Kedung Cabak Weir. Calculation of irrigation water based on the distance factor is irrigation water which is added with the calculation of water loss. While the calculation regardless of the distance factor is also done as values for the amount of irrigation water discharge requirements. From the calculation results irrigation water based on the distance factor at Secondary Channels of Kedung Cabak Weir average of 1,973 m3/sec and the irrigation water without based on the distance factor average of 2,512 m3/sec, so there is a saving of irrigation water consumption amounted to 0,539 m3/sec. The Water Use Index (IPA) on Secondary Channels of Kedung Cabak Weir on Good grade of 81% (29 times from 36 periods) and Medium grade of 19% (7 times from 36 periods), so that irrigation water based on the distance factor reasonable to be applied on Watukursi Irrigation Network.
