Abstract
Universitas Brawijaya Malang merupakan salah satu lembaga Perguruan Tinggi Negeri terbesar di Indonesia, terletak di tengah kota Malang. Sebagai pusat pendidikan, pemenuhan fasilitas pendukung kampus hendaknya diperhatikan. Di dalam lingkungan pusat kampus, merupakan pusat kegiatan civitas akademika kampus sehingga diperlukan sebuah jalur yang saling menghubungkan tiap gedung. Berjalan kaki merupakan alat transportasi yang paling efisien di dalam lingkungan kampus, sehingga pemenuhan aspek kenyamanan jalur pejalan kaki merupakan hal yang perlu diperhatikan. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jalur pejalan kaki pada lingkungan kampus pusat Universitas Brawijaya Malang. Metode umum yang dapat digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif. Tahap-tahap yang dilakukan selama proses kajian adalah observasi terhadap objek wilayah kajian, dokumentasi, melakukan kunjungan terhadap instansi terkait untuk pengumpulan data sekunder. Selanjutnya melakukan analisis terhadap data primer yang telah diperoleh tersebut, diolah untuk menghasilkan sintesis dan menarik kesimpulan terhadap hasil analisis. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kajian ini adalah kesimpulan tentang kondisi jalur pejalan kaki pada lingkungan pusat kampus Universitas Brawijaya Malang. Pada jalur pejalan kaki dilakukan pengamatan terhadap pemenuhan aspek kenyaman secara primer, yaitu rute langsung, keamanan, dan kejelasan. Dari hasil yang diperoleh dapat dijadikan menjadi acuan untuk penelitian jalur pejalan kaki dengan elemen pendukungnya terhadap pengembangan kampus Universitas Brawijaya atau pusat kawasan pendidikan selanjutnya.
English Abstract
Brawijaya University is one of the largest institutions of State Universities in Indonesia, located in the city center of Malang. As a center of education, the fulfillment of campus support facilities should be considered. In the center of the campus environment, is the center of campus academic community that needed a path interconnecting each building. Walking is the most efficient means of transportation within the campus environment, thus fulfilling the convenience aspect of pedestrian paths are things that need attention. The study aims to identify the pedestrian path on the campus center Brawijaya University. The general method that can be used is descriptive qualitative method. The stages are carried out during the review process is the object of the study area observation, documentation, a visit to the relevant agencies for the collection of secondary data. Furthermore, an analysis of the primary data that have been obtained are mixed to produce a synthesis and draw conclusions on the results of the analysis. The results obtained from this study is the conclusion about the condition of the pedestrian path on the environment University of Brawijayas campus center. In the pedestrian pathway was observed on the fulfillment of comfort is the primary aspect, namely the direct route, security, and clarity. From the results obtained can be used as a reference for the study of pedestrian paths with supporting elements for the development of University of Brawijayas campus or regional centers of further education
