Abstract
Lawang merupakan daerah berkembang di Kabupaten Malang. Sektor industri dan perdagangan sangat diandalkan diwilayah ini.Hampir seluruh kota-kota di Indonesia memiliki kawasan kota lama yang menyimpan nilai sejarah perkembangannya. Kawasan kota lama tersebut adalah kawasan pusat Kota Lawang yang merupakan cikal bakal dari pertumbuhan Lawang. Kawasan Pusat Kota Lawang memiliki tingkat kegiatan yang meningkat selama beberapa tahun, perkembangan yang mencolok terlihat pada kawasan perdagangan yang berada di sekitar Pasar Lawang. Kawasan Pasar Lawang mempunyai tingkat aksesibilitas yang tinggi, karena wilayahnya dilewati oleh jalur Surabaya-Malang sehingga mampu menghubungkan Lawang dengan kota-kota lainnya seperti Pasuruan, Pandaan dan Surabaya. Adanya perkembangan suatu kota membawa Lawang berkembang menjadi daerah yang komersial yang dituntut untuk mengikuti perkebangan kota saat ini. Kualitas bangunan dan lingkungan mulai terabaikan yang pada akhirnya menyebabkan kemrosotan kualitas bangunan dan lingkungan, serta citra sebagai kawasan yang masih memiliki nilai sejarah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi pengaruh kegiatan perdagangan Pasar Lawang terhadap bangunan kuno disekitarnya.. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi logistic, analisis citra kawasan dan analisis sincronic-diacronik. Hasil studi ditemukan bahwa variabel yang mempengaruhi kegiatan Pasar Lawang terhadap bangunan kuno adalah jarak dan pendapatan.
English Abstract
Lawang is a developing area in Malang. Industrial and trade sectors are very reliable there. Almost all cities in Indonesia has heritage area that save the history value of its development. The heritage area is the Lawang downtown area as the forerunner of growth in Lawang. Lawang downtown area has increasing level of activities for several years, the rapid developments in the trading area were around Lawang market. Lawang market area has a high level of accessibility, because the area crossed by the Surabaya-Malang route so that connecting Lawang with other cities such as Pasuruan, Pandaan, and Surabaya. The development ofit caused Lawang city brought Lawang into a commercial area that is required to keep the current development. Building and environment quality began to neglect surround. This research aims to identify the effect of Lawang market trading activities on ancient building surrounding there. This study used a logistic regression analysis, image analysis, and sinchronic - diachronic analysis. The results of the analysis of the effect of Lawang market activities to ancient buildings, variables that effect is distance and incom.
