Abstract

Franchise adalah jenis usaha yang menawarkan berbagai keunggulan seperti reputasi badan usaha yang telah dikenal luas oleh masyarakat dan stabilitas prosedur operasi. Kendati demikian, usaha franchise tidak jarang mengalami kegagalan yang salah satu penyebabnya adalah lokasi. Pemilihan lokasi yang tidak memenuhi kriteria tertentu berdampak langsung pada kegagalan usaha franchise. Selama ini, penentuan kelayakan lokasi usaha untuk objek yang diteliti memiliki pola komputasi yang tidak jelas, tidak terarah dan tidak konkret. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk menetapkan kelayakan lokasi usaha yang tepat didukung dengan pola perhitungan yang tepat pula. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode AHP dan VIKOR untuk membangun sebuah sistem yang dapat menjawab permasalahan Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) bagi kelayakan lokasi usaha franchise. Metode AHP digunakan untuk mendapatkan nilai bobot dari seluruh kriteria, sedangkan VIKOR berfokus pada pemeringkatan alternatif lokasi usaha dan pengajuan solusi kompromi. Berdasarkan hasil dari pengujian yang dilakukan, akurasi tertinggi diperoleh sebesar 85% ketika nilai threshold diubah menjadi 0,56. Sedangkan sensitivitas nilai VIKOR ketika nilai variabel

English Abstract

Franchise is a type of business that offers various benefits such as the good reputation of the company which has been widely recognized and the stability of operating procedures. Nevertheless, the franchise business also could be closed to bankruptcy, one aspect which influences it is the location factor. Site selection that does not meet certain criterias has a direct impact on the failure of the franchise business. This far, the determination of the feasibility of business location for the object under study has a pattern of computation that is not clear, not directional and not concrete. Therefore, it is important to establish the appropriate business location feasibility supported by proper calculation patterns as well. In this research, writer uses AHP and VIKOR methods to build a system that can answer Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) problem for feasibility of franchise business location. The AHP method is used to derive the weighting value of all criteria, while VIKOR focuses on the ranking of alternative business locations and to propose compromise solution.
