Abstract
Tanaman bayam (Amaranthus hybridus) merupakan salah satu jenis makanan yang dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat, karena mengandung gizi, vitamin, dan garam mineral yang diperlukan oleh tubuh manusia. Dampak dari penggunaan pupuk anorganik yang terus-menerus tanpa diimbangi dengan pemberian pupuk organik akan mengakibatkan kesuburan tanah berkurang (Hairiah dan Handayanto, 2007). Bahan organik memegang peranan penting dalam menunjang pertumbuhan tanaman. Menurut Hidayah, Puspitorini, dan Setya (2016), bahwa pemberian pupuk kandang dapat memperbaiki struktur tanah yang sangat kekurangan unsur organik serta dapat memperkuat akar tanaman. Keseimbangan pemakaian pupuk anorganik dan organik adalah kunci dari pemupukan yang tepat. Pupuk urea adalah pupuk kimia yang mengandung nitrogen berkadar tinggi. Pemberian pupuk urea pada masa vegetatif tanaman akan sangat membantu dalam perkembangan dan pertumbuhan tanaman agar kebutuhan unsur pada saat awal penanaman dapat terpenuhi. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mempelajari pengaruh pupuk kandang dan pupuk urea untuk mengurangi dosis pupuk anorganik pada pertanaman bayam. Hipotesis penelitian adalah pupuk kandang dapat mengurangi dosis pupuk urea pada pertanaman bayam. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli-Agustus 2018 di Desa Dadaprejo, Kecamatan Dau, Batu. Alat yang digunakan yaitu cangkul, penggaris, label, gembor, timbangan analitik, alat tulis, dan kamera. Bahan yang digunakan yaitu benih tanaman bayam varietas panah merah, pupuk kandang, pupuk urea, dan insektisida/nematisida Furadan 3GR. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial yang terdiri dari 12 perlakuan dan masing-masing diulang 3 kali. Perlakuannya adalah sebagai berikut: P0U0= Pupuk Kandang 0 ton ha–1 + Pupuk Urea 0 kg ha–1, P1U0 = Pupuk Kandang 10 ton ha–1 + Pupuk Urea 0 kg ha–1, P2U0 = Pupuk Kandang 20 ton ha–1 + Pupuk Urea 0 kg ha–1, P3U0 = Pupuk Kandang 30 ton ha–1 + Pupuk Urea 0 kg ha–1, P0U1 = Pupuk Kandang 0 ton ha–1 + Pupuk Urea 75 kg ha–1, P1U1 = Pupuk Kandang 10 ton ha–1 + Pupuk Urea 75 kg ha–1, P2U1 = Pupuk Kandang 20 ton ha–1 + Pupuk Urea 75 kg ha–1, P3U1 = Pupuk Kandang 30 ton ha–1 + Pupuk Urea 75 kg ha–1, P0U2 = Pupuk Kandang 0 ton ha–1 + Pupuk Urea 150 kg ha–1, P1U2 = Pupuk Kandang 10 ton ha–1 + Pupuk Urea 150 kg ha–1, P2U2 = Pupuk Kandang 20 ton ha–1 + Pupuk Urea 150 kg ha–1, P3U2 = Pupuk Kandang 30 ton ha–1 + Pupuk Urea 150 kg ha–1. Pengamatan terdiri dari pengamatan pertumbuhan yaitu pengamatan non destruktif yang meliputi: tinggi tanaman (cm) dan jumlah daun (helai). Parameter hasil yang diamati meliputi: bobot kering tanaman (g), bobot segar tanaman per petak (g), bobot segar tanaman per hektar (ton ha-1) dan kadar nitrogen tanaman. Data pengamatan yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis ragam (uji F) pada taraf 5% untuk mengetahui pengaruh perlakuan. Apabila hasilnya nyata makaii dilanjutkan dengan uji BNJ pada taraf nyata 5% untuk mengetahui perbedaan diantara perlakuan. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian pupuk kandang dan pupuk urea mampu meningkatkan hasil tanaman bayam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin banyak dosis pupuk kandang dan pupuk urea yang diberikan, maka semakin tinggi pula hasil yang didapatkan.
English Abstract
Spinach (Amaranthus hybridus) is one kind of food consumed by the community, because it contains nutrients, vitamins, and mineral salts which are essential for the human body. The impact of continuous use of inorganic fertilizers without being balanced with organic fertilizer will result in reduced soil fertility (Hairiah and Handayanto, 2007). Organic matter plays an important role in supporting plant growth. According to Hidayah, Puspitorini, and Setya (2016), that giving manure can improve soil structures that are very deficient in organic elements and can strengthen plant roots. The balance of using inorganic and organic fertilizers is the key to proper fertilization. Urea fertilizer is a chemical fertilizer containing high levels of nitrogen. The provision of urea fertilizer in the vegetative period of the plant will greatly assist in the development and growth of plants so that the elemental needs at the beginning of planting can be fulfilled. The objective was to study the effect of manure and urea fertilizer to reduce the dose of inorganic fertilizer on spinach. The hypothesis is that manure can reduce the dose of urea in spinach. The study was conducted from July-August 2018 in Dadaprejo Village, Dau District, Batu. The tools used are hoe, ruler or metered, labels, sprinkler, analytical scale, stationary, and camera. The materials used are seeds of spinach, manure, urea fertilizer, and insecticide/nematicide Furadan 3GR. The research use Factorial Randomized Block Design consisting of 12 treatments and repeated 3 times. The treatments are as follows: P0U0 = Manure 0 ton ha-1 + Urea Fertilizer 0 kg ha-1, P1U0 = Manure 10 ton ha-1 + Urea Fertilizer 0 kg ha-1, P2U0 = Manure 20 ton ha-1 + Urea Fertilizer 0 kg ha-1, P3U0 = Manure 30 tons ha-1 + Urea Fertilizer 0 kg ha-1, P0U1 = Manure 0 ton ha-1 + Urea Fertilizer 75 kg ha–1, P1U1 = Manure 10 tons ha–1 + Urea Fertilizer 75 kg ha–1, P2U1 = Manure 20 tons ha–1 + Urea Fertilizer 75 kg ha–1, P3U1 = Manure 30 ton ha–1 + Urea Fertilizer 75 kg ha–1, P0U2 = Manure 0 ton ha–1 + Urea Fertilizer 150 kg ha–1, P1U2 = Manure 10 tons ha–1 + Urea Fertilizer 150 kg ha–1, P2U2 = Manure 20 tons ha–1 + Urea Fertilizer 150 kg ha–1, P3U2 = Manure 30 tons ha–1 + Urea Fertilizer 150 kg ha–1. Observations consist of growth observations which are non-destructive observations which include: plant height (cm) and number of leaves (sheet). Parameters of results observed include: plant dry weight (g), plant fresh weight per plot (g), plant fresh weight per hectare (ton ha-1) and plant nitrogen content. Observation data obtained were analyzed using variance analysis (F test) at the 5% level to determine the effect of treatment. At the results are real then proceed with the BNJ test at a significant level of 5% to find out the differences between treatments. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the administration of manure and urea fertilizer can improve the yield of spinach. The results showed that the more doses of manure and urea fertilizer were given, the higher the results obtained.
