Abstract
Melon merupakan salah satu buah yang sangat digemari di Indonesia. Menurut pakar Antok Wahyu Sektiono melon yang memiliki nama latin Cucumis Melo termasuk dalam suku labulabuan atau Cucurbitaceae. Akan tetapi di Indonesia sendiri penyakit pada buah melon menurut survey dari kementrian pertanian justru mengalami penikngkatan dua kali lipat dari tahun 2008 sampai 2013. Permasalahan yang disebutkan dapat diatasi dengan mengenali gejala-gejala umum dari penyakit melon. Gejala-gejala umum memiliki kemiripan dengan gejala penyakit lain, sehingga masyarakat kesulitan dalam mengenali gejala dari penyakit melon dengan penyakit lainya. Permasalahan mengenali gejala penyakit melon dapat diselesaikan dengan sistem pakar. Sistem menerapkan pengetahuan tentang gejala penyakit melon kedalam sistem. Android merupakan sistem operasi berbasis mobile. Android sendiri memiliki pengguna yang sangan banyak di Indonesia. Untuk itu sistem berbasis android tentu dapat menjangkau lingkup masyarakat yang lebih luas. Metode yang digunakan dalam sistem ini yaitu Naive Bayes. Metode tersebut diimplementasikan pada mesin inferensi sistem pakar agar dapat melakukan penarikan kesimpulan berdasarkan pengetahuan yang ada pada basis pengetahuan. Hasil yang didapatkan setelah pengujian akurasi yaitu 96% yang menunjukan bahwa metode Naive Bayes cocok untuk kasus penyakit melon.
English Abstract
Melon is one of the most popular fruits in Indonesia. According to experts Antok Wahyu Sektiono melon which has Latin name Cucumis Melo included in the tribe of pumpkin or Cucurbitaceae. However, in Indonesia itself, melon fodder according to the survey from the Ministry of agriculture actually has doubled from 2008 to 2013. The mentioned problems can be solved by recognizing the common symptoms of melon disease. Common symptoms have similarities with other symptoms of the disease, so the public difficulty in recognizing the symptoms of melon disease with other diseases. The problem of recognizing the symptoms of melon disease can be solved by expert system. The system applies knowledge of the symptoms of melon disease into the system. Android is a mobile-based operating system. Android itself has a lot of users in Indonesia. For that android-based systems certainly can reach the wider community. The method used in this system is Naive Bayes. The method is implemented on expert system inference engine in order to make a conclusion based on knowledge available on the knowledge base. Results obtained after an accuracy test of 96% indicating that the method of Naive Bayes is suitable for cases of melon disease.
