Abstract
Tanaman tembakau merupakan komoditas tanaman perkebunan yang memiliki peranan penting dan strategis bagi perekonomian Indonesia. Salah satu kendala untuk meningkatkan produksi tanaman tembakau di Indonesia yaitu penyakit lanas yang disebabkan oleh jamur Phytophthora nicotianae. Hingga saat ini pengendalian menggunakan fungisida sintetik masih banyak digunakan petani untuk pengendalian penyakit tersebut. Salah satu fungisida yang digunakan untuk pengendalian penyakit lanas yaitu dengan menggunakan fungisida berbahan aktif tembaga oksi sulfat 93%. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas dankonsentrasi fungisida berbahan aktif tembaga oksi sulfat yang efektif dalam mengendalikan penyakit lanas pada tembakau.Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret-Juni 2018 di Kelurahan Pendem, Kecamatan Junrejo, Kabupaten Batu. Metode penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan yaitu aplikasi fungisida berbahan aktif tembaga oksi sulfat 93% konsentrasi 0,5 g/l, 1,0 g/l, 1,5 g/l, 2,0 g/l, dan kontrol. Aplikasi jamur P. nicotianae menggunakan isolat yang dibuat suspensi dengan air kemudian disemprotkan menggunakan alat semprot pada daun tanaman tembakau yang telah dilubangi menggunakan jarum. Fungisida berbahan aktif tembaga oksi sulfat 93% diaplikasikan pada tanaman tembakau dengan cara disemprot pada daun tanaman tembakau menggunakan alat semprot setelah gejala penyakit lanas merata pada seluruh petak perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tanaman tembakau yang diaplikasikan jamur P. nicotianae terdapat gejala penyakit lanas berupa bercak berwarna coklat kehitaman dan layu seperti disiram air panas. Pada penelitian ini, fungisida berbahan aktif tembaga oksi sulfat 93% memiliki pengaruh terhadap rata-rata intensitas penyakit dan berat basah daun tembakau namun tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun tembakau. Perlakuan yang efektif dalam mengendalikan penyakit lanas pada tembakau adalah aplikasi fungisida berbahan aktif tembaga oksi sulfat 93% konsentrasi 2,0 g/l.Pengaruh konsentrasi fungisida berbanding lurus dengan nilai presentase tingkat efikasi(TE). Tingkat efikasi perlakuan aplikasi fungisida berbahan aktif tembaga oksi sulfat 93%konsentrasi 2,0 g/l efektif dalam mengendalikan penyakit lanas pada tembakau karena nilai tingkat efikasinya sebesar 54,66%
English Abstract
Tobacco are commodities of plantation crops that have an important and strategic role for the Indonesian economy. One of the obstacles to increasing the production of tobacco plants in Indonesia is black shank disease caused by the fungus Phytophthoranicotianae. So far, control over the use of synthetic fungicides by farmers is still widely used to control the disease. One of the fungicides used to control the black shank disease is fungicide that is active from copper oxysulfate. This study was conducted to determine the efficacy and concentration of fungicide application with 93% active concentration of oxy sulfate copperwhich are effective in control black shank disease in tobacco.This research was conducted in March-June 2018 in Pendem Village, Junrejo District, Batu Regency. The research method used a randomized block design (RBD) with 5 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments used were fungicide application with 93% active concentration of oxy sulfate copper 0.5 g/l, 1.0 g/l, 1.5 g/l, 2.0 g/l, and control. Application of P. nicotianae using suspense made with water then sprayed using a spray tool on the leaves of tobacco plants that have been perforated using a needle. Fungicides containing 93% active copper oxy sulfate were applied to tobacco plants by spraying on the leaves of tobacco plants using a spray tool after symptoms of black shank disease were evenly distributed throughout the treatment plot. The results of the research showed the tobacco plants that applied to the P. nicotianae contained symptoms of black shank disease in the form of dark brown spots and wilted like drain by hot water. In this study, fungicide application with 93% active concentration of oxy sulfate copper had an effect on the average disease intensity and the wet weight of tobacco leaves but did not have an influence on plant height and the number of tobacco leaves. Effective treatment in controlling black shank disease in tobacco is the application of fungicide with 93% active concentration of oxy sulfate copper 2.0 g/l. The effect of fungicide concentration is directly proportional to the percentage value of efficacy level (TE). The level of efficacy of fungicide application with 93% active concentration of oxy sulfate copper concentration of 2.0 g/l is effective in controlling black shank disease in tobacco because the value of the efficacy level is 54.66%.
