Abstract

Nanocomposite dibagi menjadi dua klasifikasi yaitu nanofiller dan nanohybrid. Resin komposit nanofiller terdiri atas partikel berukuran nano (1-100 nm) pada seluruh matriks resinnya. Resin komposit nanohybrid memiliki partikel filler bervariasi terdiri dari partikel berukuran mikro dan nano. Teh hitam mengandung staining agent seperti tanin dan asam fenolik yang dapat terserap oleh restorasi sehingga menyebabkan perubahan warna. Tujuan: mengetahui perbedaan perubahan warna pada resin komposit nanofiller dan nanohybrid terhadap perendaman teh hitam. Metode: satu cycle terdiri 20 menit perendaman dengan pencucian air selama 10 detik setiap 10 menitnya. Dilakukan sebanyak 56 cycle yang setara dengan 56 hari. Lama perendaman setara 2 kali minum teh (2 x 56 hari) = 112 hari, kira-kira setara 4 bulan pemakaian. Hasil: uji Independent T-Test terdapat perubahan warna yang tidak bermakna (p>0.05), dan besarnya mean difference (0.005) karena bernilai positif. Kesimpulan: resin komposit nanohybrid memiliki rata-rata perubahan warna lebih kecil dibandingkan resin komposit nanofiller.

English Abstract

Nanocomposite is divided into two classifications, namely nanofiller and nanohybrid. Nanofiller composite resin consist of nano-sized particles (1-100 nm) in the entire resin matrix. Nanohybrid composite resin has various filler particles consisting of micro and nano sized particles. Black tea contains staining agents such as tannins and phenolic acids which can be absorbed by the restoration causing color changes. Objective: to determine differences in color changes in nanofiller and nanohybrid composite resin to soaking black tea. Method: one cycle consists of 20 minutes of immersion by washing water for 10 seconds every 10 minutes. There are 56 cycles which are equivalent to 56 days. Soaking time is equivalent to 2 times tea (2 x 56 days) = 112 days, approximately equivalent to 4 months of use. Results: Independent T-Test test has no significant color changes (p> 0.05), and the mean difference (0.005) because it is positive. Conclusion: nanohybrid composite resin has a smaller color change than nanofiller composite resin
