Abstract

Penelitianinidilaksanakanuntukmengevaluasipengg unaanisi rumen yang diolahmelalui proses fortifikasidanfermentasi sebagai pakan suplementerhadap kecernaan pakan secara in vitro. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Nutrisi dan MakananTernak FakultasPeternakan Universitas Brawijaya Malang pada tanggal 17 November 2014 – 24 Februari 2015. Penelitian inidilaksanakandenganmetodepercobaandengan menggunakan rancanganacak kelompok (RAK)untukmenguji5perlakuanulang 2 kali. Kelimamacampakantersebutadalahpakan A (tebonjagung), pakan B (campuranpollard+gaplek, rasio 3:1), pakan C (isi vii rumen limbahrumahpotonghewan yang dicampurdengan pollard dangaplekdandifermentasikanselama 48 jam), pakan D (campuranpakan A dan B, rasio 55:45), danpakan E (campuranpakan A dan C,rasio55:45). Parameterkecernaanbahankering (KcBK) danbahanorganik (KcBO) in vitro. Data yang diperolehdianalisisdengansidikragam. KcBK maupunKcBOmasingmasingpakanperlakuantersebutmeningkatsecarasangatnyata (P<0,01) berturut-turutdaripakan C, B, E, D, dan A dengankisarannilaiKcBK= 44.2sampai 69,7% dan KCBO = 38,7 sampai 67,9%. Perlakuanterbaikpadapenelitianiniyaitupadapakansuplemen isi rumen fortifikasidanfermentasi. Hasilpenelitiandapatdisimpulkandenganperlakuant erbaikadalahisi rumen fortifikasifermentasikecernaanbahankering (KCBK)dankecernaanbahan organic (KCBO).Penggunaanpakansuplemenisi rumen fortifikasifermentasidapatmeningkatkankecernaanpakandenganpakan basal hijauanjagung. Agar bisamenjelaskanlebihrincitentangbagaimanamekanismepen ggunaanpakansuplemenberupaisi rumen fortifikasifermentasisertadapatdisarankanuntukmeningkatkankecerna anpakandenganpakan basal hijauan, makaperludilakukanpenelitianlebihlanjutdenganpengamata n parameter produkfermentasiin vitro (pH, VFA, danpopulasimikroba) sebagai data penunjang data kecernaan.

English Abstract

Digestibility is one of the that determine the quality of the feed and determine the supply of nutrients to the of livestock. There are several methods to measure the digestibility of the feed, one of which is carried out in vitro. This study was conducted to evaluate the use of rumen contents were processed through fortification and fermentation process as a feed supplement to feed digestibility in vitro. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Nutrition and Food Cattle Brawijaya University Faculty of Animal Husbandry in December 2014. This research was conducted with experimental methods using a randomized block design (RAK) to test 5 treatment 2 times. The treatments were feed A (cornstover), feed B (mixture of pollard + cassava, a ratio of 3: 1), feed v C (rumen content of waste slaughterhouses mixed with pollar and cassava and fermented for 48 hours), feed D (a mixture of A and B feed, the ratio of 55:45), and feed E (the feed mixture A and C, the ratio of 55:45). Parameters measured were dry matter digestibility (KCBK) and organic matter (KcBO) in vitro. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance. KCBK and KcBO each treatment feed has increased significantly (P<0.01) respectively from feed C, B, E, D, and A with the range of values KCBK = 44.2 to 69.7% andKcBO = 38, 7 to 67.9%. From results, it can be concluded that the use of the contents of the rumen waste slaughter house mixed with pollard and cassava and fermented for 48 hours as a feed supplement.
