Abstract
Pusat Penelitian Gula Jengkol, Kediri merupakan salah satu anak perusahaan PTPN X yang bergerak di bidang penelitian dan pengembangan tanaman tebu. Tanah pada perkebunan tebu PTPN X di wilayah Kediri seluas 2100 ha didominasi oleh jenis tanah Inceptisol yang memiliki tekstur tanah berpasir dan kendala kesuburan tanah seperti memiliki nilai pH 4,3-6,3 (masam-agak masam), kandungan nitrogen sebesar 0,7-0,28 % (rendah-sangat tinggi), kandungan Corganik berkisar 0,9-3,5 % (sangat rendah-sedang), dan C/N rasio 5-14 (rendahsedang). Berdasarkan permasalahan kesuburan tanah di lokasi penelitian, diperlukan suatu upaya untuk membantu mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan penggunaan pupuk majemuk hayati cair. Pupuk hayati ini mengandung beberapa mikroorganisme potensial seperti penambat N, pelarut P, pengurai K, fitohormon, dan biopestisida. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk hayati majemuk cair terhadap pelepasan unsur hara NPK dan pertumbuhan awal tanaman tebu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari hingga Mei 2018 di Pusat Penelitian Gula PTPN X Jengkol, Kediri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan lima perlakuan dan lima kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang diuji terdiri atas 5 perlakuan yaitu, A1: pupuk dasar (kontrol), A2 (50% pupuk hayati majemuk cair + pupuk dasar), A3 (100% pupuk hayati majemuk cair + pupuk dasar), A4 (150% pupuk hayati majemuk cair + pupuk dasar), dan A5 (200% pupuk hayati majemuk cair + pupuk dasar). Pupuk dasar yang digunakan adalah Urea, SP36, dan KCl sesuai dengan dosis untuk tanaman tebu (150 kg N/ha, 105 kg P2O5/ha, dan 150 kg K2O/ha). Analisis data menggunakan ANOVA dengan uji F 5%, uji lanjut DMRT taraf 5% bila berpengaruh nyata, serta uji korelasi antar parameter pengamatan. Parameter yang diamati adalah beberapa sifat kimia tanah seperti pH, C-organik, C/N rasio, Ntotal, P dan K-tersedia, serta Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aplikasi pupuk hayati majemuk cair + pupuk dasar berpengaruh nyata terhadap kandungan P dan K dalam tanah, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap kandungan N. Aplikasi pupuk hayati majemuk cair dengan dosis 150% memberikan nilai yang paling tinggi terhadap kandungan unsur hara N dan K dalam tanah. Kemudian, aplikasi 150% pupuk hayati majemuk cair + pupuk dasar secara nyata mampu meningkatkan diameter batang tebu 3 BST dibandingkan perlakuan kontrol.
English Abstract
Jengkol Sugar Research Center, Kediri is a subsidiary of PTPN X which is engaged in the research and development of sugarcane. Soil in PTPN X sugarcane plantations in Kediri has an area of 2100 ha and it is dominated by Inceptisols which has sandy soil texture and soil fertility constraints such as had a pH value of 4,3-6,3 (acid to slightly acid), nitrogen content of 0,7-0,28% (low to very high), C-organic contents ranged from 0,9-3,5% (very low to moderate), and C/N ratio ranges from 5-14 (low to moderate). Based on the problem of soil fertility in the research location, an effort is needed to overcome this problem by using liquid compound biofertilizer. This biofertilizer produces several Nitrogen Fixing Bacteria, Phosphorus Solubilizing Bacteria, Potassium Solubilizing Bacteria, phytohormone, and biopesticides. Therefore, the research was conducted to find out the effect of liquid compound biofertilizer on the release of NPK and sugarcane initial growth. This research was conducted on January until May 2018 in Sugar Research Center of PTPN X Jengkol, Kediri. This research used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with five treatments and five replications which were A1 using basic fertilizer (control), A2 (50% liquid compound biofertilizer + basic fertilizer), A3 (100% liquid compound biofertilizer + basic fertilizer), A4 (150% liquid compound biofertilizer + basic fertilizer), and A5 (200% liquid compound biofertilizer + basic fertilizer). The basic fertilizers used were Urea, SP36, and KCl. They were applied according to the dosage of sugarcane (150 kg N/ha, 105 kg P2O5/ha, dan 150 kg K2O/ha). The data analysis used 5% ANOVA with 5% DMRT test, and correlation test among observation parameters. The parameters observed were some soil chemical properties such as pH, C-organic, C/N ratio, Ntotal, P and K-available, and the initial growth of sugarcane including stem diameter and number of tillers. The results showed that application of liquid compound biofertilizer and basic fertilizer significantly effect to P and K in the soil, but it was not significant to N content. The application of liquid compound biofertilizer with 150% dosage gave the highest value to N and K nutrient content in the soil. Application of 150% liquid compound biofertilizer and basic fertilizer was able to increase the diameter of sugarcane 3 MAP compared with control.
