Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di penetasan Bapak Salim Wardoyo di Kecamatan Codo, Kabupaten Wajak Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini dilakukan mulai 9 April hingga 8 Mei 2012. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan pengaruh jenis dan frekuensi penyemprotan, dan interaksi mereka pada daya tetas, berat badan, dan embrio mati dari telur bebek Khaki Campbell. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah percobaan faktorial (2x3) dengan empat replikasi dan dirancang dengan desain acak lengkap (CRD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis penyemprotan memiliki efek secara signifikan pada daya tetas dan embrio mati, tetapi tidak ada yang signifikan pada bobot penetasan. Jenis penyemprotan dengan air yang ditambahkan v vitamin kompleks dapat meningkatkan daya tetas dan mengurangi embrio mati. Frekuensi penyemprotan tidak signifikan berbeda pada daya tetas, berat badan, dan embrio mati. Interaksi antara jenis dan frekuensi penyemprotan tidak signifikan berbeda pada daya tetas, berat badan menetas, dan embrio mati.

English Abstract

The research was conducted at the Mr. Salim Wardoyo’s hatchery in Codo Subdistrict, Wajak District of Malang Regency. The research was conducted from April 9 th to 8 th May 2012. The purpose of this research was to determined the effect of type and frequency of spraying, and their interactions on hatchability, hatching weight, and dead embryo of Khaki Campbell duck eggs. The research method used was factorial experiment (2x3) with four replications and designed with Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The results showed that the type of spraying had effects significantly on hatchability and dead embryo, but no significant different on the hatching weight. Types of spraying with water added B complex vitamin can increase hatchability and decrease dead embryo. The frequency of spraying no significant different on hatchability, hatching weight, and dead embryos. The interaction between type and frequency of spraying no significant different on hatchability, hatching weight, and dead embryo.
