Tamyis, Ma`rifahRahmawatiZakiyah (2013) Performa Kelinci Peranakan New Zealand White Yang Diberi Limbah Kubis (Brassica Oleracia) Tercemar Pestisida. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
English Abstract
This study was purpose to find out the performance of new zealand white rabbits that are given cabbage waste that is contaminated by pesticided. This study uses exploration method through 3 groups of rabbits which are distinguished by initial body weight; large, small and medium. Each group is given the same feed treatment and each group is given 4 replications. The obtained data is in the forms of interviews, research and subsequent laboratory analysis which then are analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the cabbage wastes used as feed rabbits for research three types of pesticide residues detected that endosulfan, profenofos and chlorpyrifos was 0.0017; 0.0028; 0.0019 ppm content of pesticide residues but is still below the safety threshold. Provision of waste cabbage on rabbit groups differentiated by a large body weight (B), medium (S) and small (K) does not decrease dry matter intake, body weight gain and feed conversion because the waste feed cabbage given still concentrations of pesticide residues below the safe threshold. Based on the research data, it can be concluded that the effect cabbage waste as the main forage which is thought contains pesticide residues do not affect dry matter intake, feed conversion and body weight gain, in rabbits which is differentiated by body weight, divided into large, medium and small. Future studies are expected to test pesticide residues in meat rabbits.
