Abstract
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di peternakan rakyat Desa Mulyoasri dan Desa Argoyuwono sebagai sumber bibit, di Kecamatan Ampelgading Kabupaten Malang selama 3 bulan, mulai dari bulan Oktober 2009 – Januari 2010. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: Pengaruh pemberian PGF2α double dosis terhadap munculnya birahi, kualitas birahi, dan keberhasilan kebuntingan. Manfaat Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Pemberian PGF2α Terhadap Persentase Kebuntingan Kambing Peranakan Ettawa (PE) di Sentra Pembibitan Kambing Kecamatan Ampelgading Kabupaten Malang sehingga dapat dipakai dalam manajemen pembibitan ternak. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kambing Peranakan Ettawa (PE) dalam keadaan an estrus. 20 ekor diperlakukan dengan di injek PGF2α double dosis dan 20 ekor tanpa PGF2α kemudian di lakukan IB di peternakan rakyat Desa Mulyoasri dan Desa Argoyuwono Kecamatan Ampel Gading. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah experimental dan survei. Dari hasil penelitian menggunakan 40 ekor kambing PE dapat disimpulkan bahwa sinkronisasi menggunakan PGF2α double dosis berpengaruh terhadap munculnya birahi (100%) yaitu kualitas birahi sedang 42,96 % dan kualitas birahi baik 57,04 %. Keberhasilan kebuntingan sinkronisasi dioperoleh NRR21, NRR42, NRR63 yaitu 90%, 85%, dan 75%. Melihat hasil dari NRR dengan sinkronisasi yang mengalami penurunan dari NRR21 ke NRR63 yaitu 95% menjadi 75% maka perlu adanya evalusi tentang adanya kematian embrio, silent haet pada kambing, serta perlu penambahan wawasan cara beternak yang baik untuk kelompok tani ternak.
English Abstract
This research was conducted in Mulyoasri farm and Argoyuwono village as the source of breed, Ampelgading sub district, Malang district for 4 month, from October 2009 to January 2010. The objectives of this research were to know: the effect of adding double dose PGF2α hormone to the sexuality desire, quality of sexuality desire, and succeed of pregnancy. The advantage of this research was to know the effect of adding double dose PGF2α hormone to the succeed of PE goat pregnancy in the goat breeding centre, Ampelgading sub district, Malang district, so it could be used in the management of goat breeding. Materials used were an estrus phase PE goat. 20 goat were treated by injected double dose PGF2α hormone and the other 20 without PGF2α hormone and Artifial Insemination in Molyoasri farm and Argoyuwono Village as the source of breed, Ampelgading sub district, Malang district. Methods used were experimental and survey methods. From the result of research, concluded that synchronized using double dose PGF2α hormone have effects to the pregnancy appearing (100%) and to the medium quality of sexuality desire (++) 42.96%, to the good quality (+++) 57.04%. Succeed of pregnancy after synchronized and watched from NRR21 to NRR63 were 90%, 85%, and 75%. Based on the synchronized NRR which decreasing from NRR21 to NRR63 was 95% to 75% shows that evaluation about the death of embryo, silent heat of the goat is needed, it is also need to enlarge knowledge about farming management to the farmer group.
