JangkungPututKuncoro (2007) Respon Penambahan Tepung Bawang Putih (Allium Sativum liin) terhadap performa ayam pedaging pada periode starter. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
This research was done in Mr. Sujitno animal husbandry, Sumberdodol, Panekan, Magetan since December 26th 2006 until Januari 29th 2007. The research purpose was to study the response of extract Allium Sativum liin to addition in broiler feeding to the performance of female broiler at starter including the feed consumption, body weight gain, and feed conversion. The result of the research was expected could give information about extract Allium sativum liin in broiler feeding and also level according to get performance of the broiler. The material use in the research was 72 DOC broiler female with Lohman strain which is produced by PT. Multibreeder Adirama Indonesia with the beginning weight of 41,43 gram and the variance coefficient has value of 7,78%. The research method was the experiment of Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with six treatment and four replication. The treatment was addition extract Alium sativum linn on 1 kilogram feed including P0 (Alium sativum linn addition 0 gram), P1(Alium sativum linn addition 0,5 gram), P2 (Alium sativum linn addition 1 gram), P3 (Alium sativum linn addition 1,5 gram), P4 (Alium sativum linn addition 2 gram). P5 (Alium sativum linn addition 2,5 gram) The variables observed were feed consumption, body weight gain, and feed conversion. The result was analyzed by variance analysis and if found the significant different can be continued with Least Significant Difference (LDS). The result showed that the response of experimen extract Allium sativum liin addition in broiler feeding during the observation gave significant different effect (P< 0,05) on feed consumption. It also gave highly significant differences effect (P< 0,01) on body weight gain and feed conversion. Average feed consumption P0 (1.527,308± 32,677), P1 (1.555,625±79,743), P2 (1557,383±76,639), P3 (1.569,342±26,88), P4 (1.557,4248±35,762) dan P5 (1.658,748±50,348). The body weight gain P0 (1.098,663±32,677), P1 (1.128,541±79,743), P2 (1.136,176±76,639), P3 (1.153,078±26,88), P4 (1.247,317±35,762) dan P5 (1.326,407±50,348). the average feed conversion P5 (1.252±0.0498), P4 (1.263±0,0736), P3 (1.362±0,0577), P2 (1.376±0,0973), P1 (1.382±0,0929) dan P0 (1.390±0,0243). It can be conclude extract Alium sativum linn to addition in broiler feeding gave significant effect on feed consumption, body weight gain and feed conversion. The extract Alium sativum linn to addition in broiler feeding is very good P5 (2.5%) because especially increasing feed consumption and body weight gain, feed conversion lower
