Abstract
Penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi merupakan hal yang penting pada saat ini dalam membantu menyelesaikan berbagai macam permasalahan dan meningkatkan kinerja berbagai macam kegiatan, baik dalam lingkup individual ataupun suatu organisasi perusahaan. Hal ini, tentu juga berlaku untuk PT. Karya Teknik Mandiri, sebuah perusahaan manufaktur yang terletak di daerah Tangerang Kota. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan observasi dengan direktur PT. Karya Teknik Mandiri, dapat dinyatakan bahwa perusahaan ini memiliki beberapa permasalahan yang diantaranya ada pada proses bisnis purchasing order perusahaan dengan pelanggan. Permasalahan proses bisnis purchasing order yang masih dalam bentuk konvensional ini diantaranya adalah, sering terjadi ketidaksesuaian antara surat jalan dengan purchasing order customer, rusak atau hilangnya purchasing order customer, dan sulitnya komunikasi antara perusahaan dengan pelanggan dalam membahas pemesanan yang dapat berlangsung hingga berhari-hari. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka ditawarkan sebuah solusi, yaitu mengganti proses bisnis purchasing order saat ini ke dalam usulan proses bisnis yang baru dengan menerapkan suatu sistem yang dapat melakukan otomatisasi pelayanan pada proses bisnis purchasing order PT. Karya Teknik Mandiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam melakukan pengembangan sistem adalah metode Prototype serta menggunakan pendekatan Operational CRM modul Service Automation. Hasil dari pengembangan sistem ini berupa “Sistem Informasi Purchasing Order”, dengan hasil pengujian menggunakan Validation Testing yang memiliki nilai valid 100% dan User Acceptance Testing yang memiliki nilai penerimaan “Sangat Baik” dari pengguna sistem. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat dinyatakan bahwa sistem yang dijadikan sebagai solusi permasalahan pada proses bisnis purchasing order PT. Karya Teknik Mandiri ini telah berhasil sebagai sebuah solusi permasalahan dan dapat diterima oleh pengguna sistem.
English Abstract
The use of information and communication technology is important at this time in solving various problems and improve the performance of various activities, either in the individual or a company organization. This, of course, also applies to PT. Karya Teknik Mandiri, a manufacturing company located in the area of Tangerang City. Based on the interviews and observations with the director of PT. Karya Teknik Mandiri, it can be stated that this company has several problems which exist in the business process of purchasing order of company with the customer. The problem of purchasing order business process which is still in conventional is, frequent inconsistency between the mailing letters with the purchasing order customer, damaged or loss of purchasing order customer, and the difficulty of communication between the company and the customer in discussing the order that could last for days. Pursuant to that matter hence can be offered a solution, that is replacing current purchasing order business process into proposed new business process by applying a system equipped with feature to perform service automation at business process of PT. Karya Teknik Mandiri purchasing order. The method used in developing the system is the Prototype method and using the Operational CRM approach, Service Automation module. The result of the development is "Purchasing Order Information System", with the test result using Validation Testing has 100% valid value and User Acceptance Testing has "Very Good" acceptance value by user. Based on these results, it can be stated that the system used as a solution problem on the process of purchasing order PT. Karya Teknik Mandiri has succeeded as solution of problem and accepted by the user.
