Abstract
Telah diamati jaringan lambung Kijing Taiwan ( Anodonta woodiana ) dari perairan yang terbukti mengandung Timbal (Pb). Kijing diambil dari tiga kolam secara acak dan dianalisis lambungnya. Analisis histologi lambung kijing menunjukkan bahwa dinding lambung mengalami kerusakan berupa penebalan dinding (hipertropi) dan terdapat cairan di luar dinding lambung (edema). Digestive divericula saling berjauhan, silia dalam lambung terlihat tidak beraturan dan menyatu (fusi). Bahkan digestive diverticule mengalami pengerutan (atropi), pembesaran (hipertropi) dan pemecahan atau kerusakan sel (nekrosis). Kerusakan terparah terjadi pada dinding lambung 80% dan silia kijing 60% dari daerah outlet di ketiga kolam yang diamati, sedangkan digestive diverticule kijing dari daerah tengah kolam yang mengalami kerusakan paling banyak yaitu termasuk dalam kategori rusak sedang. Hasil analisa kualitas air meliputi: suhu 21,5 sampai 24,5 0 C; pH air 7 sampai 8; oksigen terlarut (DO) 4,7 sampai 8,7 mg/L; dan Total Organic Matter (TOM) 7,33 sampai 9,23 mg/L.
English Abstract
Stomach tissue of Taiwan Mussel (Anodonta woodiana) has been observed from waters shown to contain Lead (Pb). Mussel taken from the 3 pools at random and analyzed stomach. The histology analysis result of mussel stomach showed that the walls of the stomach of the mussel were damaged in the form wall of the stomach thickening (hypertrophy) and there is fluid in the outer wall of the stomach (edema), at a distance from each other digestive divericule, cilia in the stomach looks irregular and fused (fusion). Even experienced digestive diverticule shrinkage (atrophy), enlargement (hypertrophy) and cell breakdown or damage (necrosis). The worst damage to the stomach wall 80% and cilia of the mussel 60% of local outlets in the three ponds were observed, whereas the digestive diverticule of the mussel from the center of the pool area suffered the most damage. Results of analysis of water quality: temperature 21,5 to 24,5 0 C, pH water 7 to 8; Dissolve Oxygen (DO) 4,7-8,7 mg/L; and Total Organic Matter (TOM) 7,33 to 9,23 mg/L.
